basically, I have just added my paypal account to withdraw some money from fiverr, but i've also just found out that my hotmail address that my paypal is linked to has been hacked and I'm locked out. Now I cant access my confirmation email from fiverr and therefor cant remove my earnings!

I have contacted fiverr support and they just keep sending the same message saying that i have to make a small deposit from the original paypal account (which obviously I cant as its not confirmed on fiverr yet).

I'm stuck now, the only option i can think is to pay somebody to hack into my hotmail account!

there must be an easier way??

See if Fiverr support will let you change to a different email associated with your PP account, so yu can send the confirmation messages there. I say support because the site software itself no longer seems to allow you to make changes.

yeah i've opened a ticket with support, they seem to be saying I need to send in loads of proof of ID etc etc, what a ballache!

Their ToS states you cannot change your paypal on your fiverr account as an anti fraud measure. Fiverr is free though, just open a new one and in your old gigs tell them to go to those gigs instead.

that would mean I loose th $80 in there already

just submit the proofs they asked for, you cannot do much more now
if you're the owner of the paypal acc tied to your fiverr acc then it shouldn't make any difficulties for you

their support is pretty quick, they usually replying in a few hours at most if not instantly and they make good decisions, it's not like paypal's support at all

Hey,

if you are unable to solve out this then make a new fiverr account and transfer your gigs!

And then order your new acc gigs from old acc!simple!

on a side note: in my experience the vast majority of fiverr users never read the description of the gigs, how do i know that? i have the max allowed 20 gigs with a single line sentence in the description ever each of them (hint: i offer 1 freebie per order), this line has the capitalized word "FREE" and it's clearly separated with an empty line from the other part of the description, so it's pretty hard to miss, but most of the times (let's say 4 out of 5) i need to remind the buyer that he/she can get a freebie along with the order and he/she usually says thanks after the reminder (which tells me that they're interested in the freebie, they just don't read the description)

other words: if you don't have a descriptive & catchy title, you're pretty much done
