I created my adsense website around 3 months ago, I didn't know what theme to choose so I just chose one of the popular ones. The theme I chose is horrible, the posts don't look very nice so I ended up making all of the articles into pages. I found a better theme that looks very nice and professional, I'm planning on changing it since I believe it would help with the bounce rate a bit. Should I just go ahead and make the pages into posts on a new theme? I don't really care about the rankings changing since I'm only ranked 80 on most of my keywords that only get like 700 m/s. Would I get any "duplicate" content warnings? Is this a good idea?

it won't matter, change your website layout :detective

well obviously it matters and affects seo since some of the pages have links built and if I remove those pages the links disappear too.

hello OP, whatever you do, make sure you won't conflict your indexed URL...:detective

That was my concern

sorry mate, yet i wasn't tried that...i think you changed the pages to post because they can't be tagged or categorized and even post are even better for SEO purpose..:detective

Yes you should change from readability and appealing point of view.

So if I change the articles from pages to posts and change the url of the articles from something like www,website.com/baseball/baseballgloves to www,website.com/baseballgloves will this come up as duplicate content on google?

What you need to do (regardless of what platform you are using) is make your new posts, and as you make one post, redirect the old page to the new post.

This will keep your old backlinks going to an active page and it will resolve the issue of having the exact same content in two places (which of course is unnecessary).
