Changing MNS to Semi-authority site

Hello BHW, (I'm not very good at explaining but I hope you understand me)
I have created several MNS targeting 1 main keyword and few other long tails. Now, I want to target more competitive keywords on few of my MNS.

The problem here for me is that all my MNS has 1 main article stickied onto my homepage and my root domain (www.domainaname.c0m) is ranking and not my target keyword page. Should I leave my main target keyword article stickied and target the other more profitable keywords on pages instead?

How should I do it?

Make your main keyword post sticky so that it always be on your home page.If you want to target more keywords than go for it.
If you change content from home page then this will definitely affect your ranking for the main keyword.

If you are making good money from this primary page I wouldn't change it. I would just create a new pages/posts targeting your more competitive keywords. They can still rank well if you the on page and off page correct. As you have all the other content targeting longer keywords it will be easier than other starting from scratch. Good luck

Thanks for the advice. So far from the replies, I`ll just target the more competitive keywords on different pages instead of sticking it onto my homepage.

Is there any other way to change my mns to semi-authority sites?
