changing ip address help

hey guys!

trying to change my ip address on the BT Home Hub router

when i sign in and go to ip addresses, do i just type a new address (fake) in the box provided and click 'add'?

This is for a stealth ebay/paypal account so is this enough?

ignore the post above ive sorted it myself.

however, when i go to whatismyip.com it gives me an ip.
however if i go to Start, run, type 'cmd', then type 'ipconfig/all' it gives a different ip address.

which 1 is the correct 1 that ebay will scan for?

Yes the ip address which is shown in whatismyip is the correct one ...
