Has anyone got any experience of changing domain names with an existing site?
I have a PR2 site which ranks highly in Google for various terms but it is a .co.uk domain name and I wish to change to a .com domain to make the site more worldwide.
Is it really as simple as 301 redirecting it to the new domain and using Webmaster Tools to change the domain from there?
Are there any risks in losing my rankings and will the PR transfer to the newly registered domain?
