i changed my initial description in youtube (first few sentences + link) but when i google the video the old description and link show until i actually click on the video. its been 4 days. how do you change get the new video description to show in google instead of the old one?

It will take some time to get updated on search results. Yeah you try pinging your video. What ping does is it will fetch google boot and make your video crawled soon.
BTW try searching it after clearing your cookies or try from other device like mobile, tab.
