So lets say you take the Apple logo, you change the type of the bite (so you see the teeth marks), and you make the leaf bigger, remove it, reflect it, what ever... Does that become an original logo?
I don't know how a court would rule but apple would certainly have no problems coming after you. They sued a school in Canada for using the logo below and the school ended up bowing to the pressure and changing their logo: I know... looks nothing like the apple logo does it?
you should be okay if it's not in the "tech/IT" space. But why not just change the shape of the apple more so it's not similar... Oh and lose the "TM" Trade Mark = Totally Meaningless - have you paid for the rights to solely use this logo?
