changing 10k followers accounnt

Hi there, I have a question to the more advanced IG people around here...
I have a 11K followers page about a specific niche (real estate)
now it is not active, I haven't uploaded a new pic for about a year, I kind of neglected this account...
Currently I barely get impressions and my followers are falling down actually...

I thought of deleting all it's pictures and changing it's name and to self brand myself in it..
I mean not to make it a niche page but to have it as my self-branded page...
If it matters - I have the insight section and swipe ups and everything...

Do you think it might work or it's a waste of time?

Those swipes tend to not work so well, rather start with a new account for your self branded project.

That account might be dead and most people might have forgotten about it if you haven't post for so long, and with that update IG did about showing previous names it is gonna hurt your reputation a bit when people check your self brand page was called ''luxuryhomes'' or ''dreamhomescalifornia'' in the past.

Honestly, don't use that page for your own. Bring it back to life, growing a page from scratch is hard these days unless you have money to spend. This is what I suggest:

1. Scrape all the followers to a Spreadsheet
2. Hire a VA to engage with every follower on that spreadsheet (Like and Comment)
3. 10k followers would take a VA around 2 months, but I suggest having him/her go through the list twice

You're going to get some Unfollows from this, but don't worry.. those are interested will stay and you can bring that account back to life.

Hi, i want to say to you at first you open an account and start from the new account because your prior account maybe died, so i advice you don't perish your time with the old account.
