I changed my theme from color mag to generate press all free started getting reductions in search console traffic metrics.
It's still reducing each day.
Any help is highly appreciated.
Did the theme have custom SEO options? Often times you just need to wait for google to adjust the new changes. it's normal to temporary lose some rankings after changing the theme, so the best option is to wait.
I never change the theme or site structure of already ranking site, its a big risk, the site may come back or it may not, have burned myself once. So IMHO restore backup.
