... says 18 year old boy :)

3 weeks ago, I was feeling horrible. I gained so much weight and I was getting weaker day by day. I have decided to change that 1000 times in my life. I have never changed it. I have always quit. But this time I told myself that it will be different. And it is, for now at least. I have lost some weight and I am getting stronger day by day.

I have never felt "normal", I have never felt handsome. Some of you didn't as well. When you spend whole your life on PC, you usually become obese. Move! Enjoy! Run! There are some things that you won't find on internet. Go grab a bicycle and ride it to somewhere, you will feel great :)

I know how hard and bad is to be overweight and how it is to be out of shape. But I said to myself that I will change this. I won't give up :) Neither you should!

Remember- The true measure of a man is not how he behaves in moments of comfort and convenience but how he stands at times of controversy and challenges.

You are still young kid, go have some fun with girls and your friends. Between, congratulation for realizing this early enough. For me, i visit the GYM every week where i talk to human and not to my PC.

I am going to gym for over 2 years, I have never seen better people in my life :) However, food was killing me and laziness, but this time I won't give up. I am still very young like you said so it would be horrible to waste my life being overweight and weak.

For those who never went to gym. Try it. Don't think that someone will make funny of you or something like that. If someone thinks that he is perfect, he won't be in gym, trust me. :)

Honestly, this is kinda ironic, since you are talking about having a life outside of your computer...on the forums.

Anyway, you are young and there is time for you. Better go out and lose some weight, you got plently of time to get in shape :)

Well, I think that it would be pointless if I went to professional sport clubs and said "Move your lazy ass! Train!" :D

There are a lot of people here and generally on internet having same issues like me. If this post gives anyone even a little motivation to go and run for a mile, I have succeed and I am happy :)

Most people who goto the gym don't care about anyone else. They're too busy focusing on themselves.
Even if you don't have a gym membership just go outside and move, find a playground and do your workout there. I feel like a kid again everytime I goto the playground and get my workout in :D

"I have never felt "normal", I have never felt handsome."

What's normal by the way? As to handsome that never stopped anybody from succeeding or having a love life. Where do you think all those ugly fugly people come from?

Have purpose and you are right "live the moment!" That's all we have, the rest is just attachment.

I have put " on normal. But what I meant isn't that overweight people aren't normal or something like that. I am overweight :)

What I meant is that everyone should feel young, good, handsome, pretty. Everyone should be proud of himself. Everyone should do his maximum on trainings. Life is great :)

I'm very devoted to strength training and have never felt better in my life since I started working out. It made me feel confident for the first time ever, and ultimately motivated me and kept me in a better mood everyday. I think with weight lifting, you increase the weight every week and therefore you learn to set goals and see results when you accomplish them. It has disciplined me to think ahead and set goals for every aspect of my life. In a year from now, you can either look better (if you workout and eat a clean diet), the same, or worse. It's up to you, good luck!

Completely true, couldn't agree more! :)

I'm 17 and have no gf, no friends, and i don't go to school....i fucked up bad....and before you say "go outside" my farther had a massive stroke 2 months ago and i'm now stuck watching him while my mom works. My life is gone so i might as well just sit here and try to make money (my dream is to make 1000k so my mom can quit her job and my family can travel the country meeting celebs) but even though my dream is big and unrealistic i still try to make it happen because that's all i have left (my dreams).
