Hi, Some days ago I post content on my site & build some quality links. Now, I want to change the permalink but My question is when I change the permalink & 301 redirects can I face any problem. Also, pass the link juice new permalinks?

Thanks!
Arafat

If you 301 it correctly, you shouldn't face any issues. WordPress does this automatically now when you change and update the post slug. 301's lose a tiny bit of link juice, but it's nothing to worry about.

You will need to properly configure the 301 that redirects the entire full length URL to the new permalink on your site - there are some 301 that does not do that, and it generally throws everything onto the base URL of the domain - thus, yoursomethingdomain.com gets all the value instead of the sub-page.
Just make sure that the 301 is functioning and implemented properly.

Don't worry about changing permalinks. Most platforms implement 301 seamlessly. Go forward with it, you won't lose any stats. Just make sure your 301 redirects are tried and tested.

Good luck!

What's your current permalink structure and what are you changing it to?

I changed mine from /category/post-name to /post-name

For the simple reason that if you wish to create/delete categories in the future, or move a post to a different category, it doesn't mess your permalink up and mean loads of 301s.

I didn't notice anything negative. Quite the opposite.
