Actually the cpa redirector is a combination of php and javascript. It's the only viable solution - straight javascript isn't a robust solution because you can't rely on the surfer's browser doing its job properly.
Dude... use Brad's CPA redirector v2. It's by far the best tool for the job, it's right there in front of you, it's free, it's easy, it works 100% of the time. You could have it installed already if you stopped mucking around.
