Currently I'm at this point were I thing I've choosen the wrong niche.
I'm in the tattoo niche and I've build this account naturally from 1k to 220k in around a 6 months!
I've never spend a dollar.

My photos have the possibility to get viral in different hashtags which end up sometimes with over 10k+ likes per photo.
Also I'm gaining 1-3k new followers each and every day organically!
BUT I'm making maybe 200-300$/month which is definately not good for such an good account. I made this money trough shoutouts but literally no one is willing to pay for a shoutout in this niche as I'm only get contacted by individuals not companys or tattoo studios.

So I'm thinking of turning this site into an fitness page as I know so many possible ways of making money trough a fitness. I've tried making an online shop but I don't know what to put there. I tried temporary tattoos and it end up with 300 uniques in a week and no sales.

What do you think ?
Is it worth it ?
What could I sell on my tattoo page ?
Any way to make the most out of my tattoo page ?

Just add a SHOP page on your site and add tattoos related product on shop page .. also you can add fitness related shop page on your website ..

I,m web developer and i can do as your requirement . just PM me your skype id

Thank you

Instead of selling temporary tattoos, try selling tattoo supplies and dropshipping them. You are doing great, but you're not monetizing it correctly.

i would not change ........... built a second account and promote with the big one.

for this great tip can you give me a shoutout :) i have a really small tattoo account as well and don't really know to do with it :)

I am not an IG expert but that sounds like a very bad move.
Amazon, Ebay and Aliexpress have tattoo kits for sale, might be worth a shot.

Really dumb to change niche especially when the account is very healthy and has big potential.

You can sell the account to me :) and start a new page!

Don't change niches. If you're looking at another type of niche, just start including 1 photo a week from the new niche.
Next week go up to 2 photos a week. By the end of the month, stay at 50-50 photos for your current and new niche.
After 3 months, start putting more and more photos of the new niche, but still keep at least 1 photo a week from the old niche.
This way it will look seamless to your users.

Stop doing shout-outs, unless you charge $500 for each. For 10K likes on a photo of real organic users, anything less than $500 per post is doing a disservice to your account. If they don't like it, they can take a hike and go somewhere else where their shout will be spammed with fake likes and fake followers. Little money and no return (win-win) for you.

Sign up with a tattoo merchandiser as an independent seller. That way, you just send leads their way, and don't have to spend money on merchandise, shipping or fulfillment headaches.

Later, (at about 3 months time from niche hybrid with new niche) sign up with a merchandiser for the other niche.

Any questions, just PM me.

This is what you do. make a fitness account and shoutout from your big page everday, i seen others do it

Dont change niches its clearly working what you have done so why break whats not broken. Add a shop link to your page build up a cheap site and sell tattoo stuff or "strange" items. Band gear etc? come on think of what tattoo obsessed people like and sell that. DO Shout outs to another profile maybe? then build that one up on the side. I would be strongly against changing niche.

But its your call shoot yourself in the foot or adapt choice is yours. Plus fitness.... over saturated unless your planning on bringing a really hot person into your profile or be totally off the scale on content i would not even bother. You could get followers and stuff sure but trying to sell stuff can be a right pain in the ass.

Sell the page to me if you are in the market for a sale.

Any chance you can give me a shoutout? I am a 13,000 account all organic followers. I don't sell anything but post about something that is passionate to me.

I'm very thankful for you taking your time and answer on my thread as I'm really frustrated.
I've just set up my online shop again and the only thing I'm struggling with is the traffic.
I don't know why but I'm getting like 150 uniques/day from 220k followers.

Any tips on how to get my followers clicking on that damn link and buy something worth it?

Find products that people in your niche actually want to buy and then mention your site link in descp of your posts.

Btw.. how did you grow to 200K in only 6 months? wtf?

This ^. How did you manage to grow your account that fast? I'm impressed.

You will piss off many of your followers by changing niches

Have you tried selling tees and hats related to your niche? Plenty of drop shipping / made to order companies out there.
