Hi, is there any way to change the location on Facebook dating? I need to do it for a project I have in mind. I tried VPN and some other things, but they can't detect it. I would really appreciate it if you know of any way to do it. Thank you very much.

Dating is only available via mobile phone and you need to use a mobile proxy for that. Also, change of location will not be instant as it will take few days to calibrate location base on IP.
 
Changing location on Facebook Dating can be tricky because Facebook uses more than just your IP to detect where you are, they also look at your GPS, device settings, and even behavior patterns. VPNs alone often don’t cut it. Some people try using location spoofing apps on their phone or messing with device location settings, but Facebook is pretty good at spotting that too. You need to do this from scratch on your phone with proxy or HMA
 
Changing location on Facebook dating seems impossible, you can try combining VPN with a GPS spoofing app and clearing your app cache, but it won't work completely.
 
To change your location on the app, it takes a few days for the device to determine your new location.
 
Had to deal with that before. VPN won cut it Facebook pulls GPS from your device. You need to use GPS spoofing tools + make sure Google Location Accuracy is turned off. Otherwise, FB will override it.
 
To change your location on Facebook Dating, you need to use a GPS simulator app on your phone because VPN is not enough to change your real location.
 
Facebook Dating often pulls location from device GPS rather than just IP. So even with a VPN, it might not update unless you spoof the actual GPS location too.

Use Fake GPS (Android)
⚠️ Only applicable to Android phones with Developer Mode enabled.

Steps:

Install the Fake GPS Location app (eg: Fake GPS Location – Lexa)

Go to Settings → About phone → Tap “Build number” 7 times to enable developer mode.

In Settings > Developer options → Select the fake location app that you just installed, Fake GPS.

Open the Fake GPS app → Select the location you want to set → Tap “Play”.

Reopen Facebook → Clear the app cache and go back to Facebook Dating.

✅ This method usually works, especially if you don’t use an additional VPN (or use a VPN with an IP near the fake location).

You will be need virtual GPS to change your location ....You will find multiple such apps to get your job done
 
Outside of casual region-locked content access, don't rely on VPNs for that sort of thing. Most sites, even the dodgy dating sites, usually flag you for using a VPN IP range.
For more popular sites and services like FB dating, VPS won't help you at all. Besides, they pull location from your device's GPS and not just the IP. Go use GPS spoofing apps for that. Just make sure the IP, data, timezone, is consistent to what you set the location to.
Also, make sure Facebook has location permissions enabled or it might fall back to old location data. Also also, clear app cache or reinstall after changing location to force an update. It’s a bit of a process, but it works for most people doing regional testing or projects like yours.
 
maybe you need a GPS spoofing app to fake GPS, not just change the device IP
