change IP address with Verizon FiOS using batch file or command line???

    create a txt file called ipreset.bat

    then inside the file write 1 line

    Ipconfig /release
    Ipconfig /renew
    ipconfig /renew EL*

    ipconfig /renew EL*

    That operation failed as no adapter is in the state permissible for this operation.


    I was also told that ipconfig wouldn't be able to do it. I have been googling. It appears that some people have figured it out (with FiOS) but it is challenging.
