Does anyone know how to change a category in facebook from 'public figure' to 'musician' ? Please don't say start a new page which is obvious but not practical for me as I have a reasonable fan base, and growing comments and do not want to start from scratch. I am willing pay reasonable for a solution asap, thankyou.

I do not think you can change your category after your page has been created. I could be wrong however.
Also, what's with this "please don't say start a new page" line? If that is all you can do, it is what it is my man.

You can contact facebook if they are willing to help you out.

Good idea, but make sure your page does not violate their TOS in any way, shape, or form; also, be prepared to offer up some believable justification.
