Hey guys,

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, or if I can do it at all.

I thought this headline might grab some attention! Here's the deal, I'm not a newbie in the least, just new to this forum. I'm rather embarrassed to say that I've spent the the last 2+ years learning IM, and spending countless hours online, and still haven't made a dime! Information overload to the extreme!

This is actually the first time I've ever reached out to anyone for help! I don't like asking for help, but I'm desperate!

I wish I had discovered the power of this forum sooner, it's awesome! Here I've been learning only white hat tactics & buying stuff like wso's the whole time and I come here and I'm like a kid in a candy store with all the free stuff and knowledge! The people here are the best!

Anyway, I'm 35yrs old, married with 3 kids, and about to lose everything because I took a gamble thinking I could make this work, and now I'm at my wits end and need help! Basically I mind fu*ked myself and can't wrap my head around what to do next because of all the stress I'm under. I've totally lost my mojo and it sucks! No vision, no enjoyment, just stress!

I have a lot of cool tools & software (NOT scrapebox or xrumer), I own 50 domains, hostgator, aweber, etc. I just need someone to take 30min of their time so I can show you what I've got going and what to do next to make it happen. Preferably a phone call/skype.

I realize this is an unusual post, but I can't get over this mental block and I just need a nudge to get the rock rollin'! I know there are some of you that are just crushing it, and have the ability to both help me and get some good karma! ;) Just think how much we can boost the economy! You help me, I help others, and so on....:) I'm a real cool guy to know and I would really, truly, appreciate it and use my ability to help others do the same! So this is my last resort!

Thanks

Bro, I'm all for encouragements, chasing your dreams etc. but sometimes you've got to question whether IM is right for you.

Don't you think your time could be spend better elsewhere?

For once I actually hope TS is overexaggerating for a walk through guide.

you say your not a newbie yet you haven't made a dime. Something is wrong. If you've applied any action which seems like u haven't. You wouldn't be where are you right now In the IM WORLD that is.

I don't see how the thread title relates to the OP... :disappoin

Bingo.
Get a second job. IM is obviously not for you.

find out what other people are doing and do it better. Do that and you will make money.

Could you maybe outline the sort of things you've tried? What sites you use to gain traffic, that kind of thing. Send me a PM if you like and I'll give it a quick look over :D (should point out that I actually make money providing a service to business' rather than IM, but it always helps to have a fresh set of eyes take a look at things).

Thanks for the replies! I cannot pm yet, but can be emailed. Joe at directnetmarketing d0t c*m I should clarify that I've made money using the internet for lead generation for other offline businesses, but having a hell of a time solely online, and now offline too! I know I need to focus, etc. but I won't give up cause I know I'm close and know too damn much (which is not always good)! I've spent my life in sales in marketing doing real estate and home healthcare, and a few other things and I've always been great at lead gen. I always have great ideas, and I know how to map it out, but once I get on pc I have a hard time implementing and get flustered! I have to make this work!

The 50 domains were obviously purchased over time with the intentions of building them out. I have 13 ready to go blogs with content (PLR that I need to re-write) and some squeeze pages. I bought exact match domains (.info for those niche blogs so these following names end in .info) bodybuildingmuscles, howtotrainapuppy, boostyourcredit, howtosavemymarriage, superaffiliatemarketingblog and more. Then I have my biz doman directnetmarketing (c*m) & GoProMarketing d0t c*m so I've got some nice real estate 350 "real' friends on FB, 200 on LInkedIn, I just need help creating a system and automating content etc. so I don't get overwhelmed. Hope that helps. Again, I can't pm so refer to other post or any of those site contact info.

It typically takes around 4-6 months before you should start making some $$ with a medium grade niche.

Are you going after highly competitive keywords with your domains?

Have you done proper onsite?

Are you linking correctly?

I only have 20 sites, and I am definitely not killing it, but im making enough to pay my mortgage, car payment and insurance with it. If you choose your niches properly and spend the time to realistically set goals for your biz, then you should see yourself climbing. With 50 sites and 2 years experience you should have something going for your.. I mean even if you just put up adsense on your sites and set up some auto blogs, you can prob make $10 a day from 50 sites.

Work smarter not harder, and if your not having fun then move you efforts elsewhere.

My suggestion is to take on a site that you have some pride in, and can personally fill it with high quality unique content. Make it a goal to add a page a day. Do proper onsite for the keywords. Your site will grow and your analytic's will most likely show an increase in traffic. Keep this up for as long as you can keep generating your content out. I am sure it will pay off somehow.

Best of luck tho

In addition, I am a very good copywriter, can make some nice videos, some posted at YouTube under DaShow22 (I used to be a baseball player & my nickname was "Joe Da Show" & my # was 22. I'm from chicago so "Da Bears". DaShow! Anyway, I'm great at direct response marketing & lead gen, but again, once I get online, I'm not the savvy-est tech person & don't get what I want accomplished. I feel like I've got a billion dollars in my brain that's dying to come out, I just need a little direction and guidance (system) from someone actually doing it well!
Thanks again!

Thanks! I know I haven't done what i need to to get these sites successful. What is the best way to setup the autoblogs. I'd like to take some of these domains and just have them filled with automated relevant content and just tweak as I go. Congrats on your successs!

Maybe team up with someone that has the knowledge to bring your ideas to life. 50/50 partnership is great because 2 brains are better than one. Just make sure you cover your assets and enter into a legal binding contract. Also, maybe do a background check on the person.

A friend of mine had a similar problem. He has been in IM for some time and he is failing. The problem with people like you is that you think IM is very easy, you don't have to do a lot of work, and that you can make money while sleeping. IM isn't like that. You work everyday and sometimes 12 to 16 hours a day.

You don't bother trying to understand the techniques, you just copy what people are doing and never trying to figure out why the techniques are working.

Inspirations happen in IM from people who know what they are doing. It is like riding a skateboard. The moment you know what you are doing, you can then perform tricks.

You need to go back to the basics. Go to the download section in this forum. Get all the ebooks you can find and just read. Just read. I repeat, just read. Even they are garbage, old, outdated, read them all. Buffer sites are an old idea but now it is like the hottest thing ever. You will keep seeing the same concept but implemented a different way all through out your IM career.

Now, you have 50 domains. You just need to make 1 dollar per domain. Get an adsense account. Get a keyword tool like market samurai. Get 5 noncompetitive longtail keywords with decent traffic per domain. Get those 5 keywords to rank 3 to 1.
You'll be making 50 dollars a day easily which should be decent. Once you do that, you know how to make money.

You should go for 10 dollar increase per month. In one year, you paycheck will be $100 a day. It is not very realistic in your current situation since you don't know what you are doing but if you keep reading, inspiration will come to you.

I don't think you should have mentioned autoblogs especially with the google panda and his current situation.

I did 35K in 1 hour via webinar try that it's easy money. good luck

don't u have a job offline? Just stick with that and work with this part time. I don't see what's the point of trying to do IM full time when like you said you haven't made a dime in 2 years. I don't thin you will be spoonfed what to do but there are threads and hordes of informaiton here. You said you know a lot but u don't seem like you are taking action. It's all about reading testing learning reading testing learning then money.

There are some basic points:

STAY FOCUSED AND DON'T START TOO MANY PROJECTS AT THE SAME TIME!

You said you are an IM for 2 years now and have 50 domains. That means you bought a new domain every second week! That's too much. You have to stick on ONE method/project/site and finish it. And don't finish 80% or 90% of it but 100%!
If you still don't make money, try it again with the same project. When you really believe that this project won't bring you money THEN switch to another one.

You said that you learned a lot, but I bet that you learned from everything "just a bit" and that's not enough.

I have made a post some time ago: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/making-money/289938-big-mistakes-you-should-avoid.html
