Censorship on Facebook

I discovered that Facebook is ghosting comments / post not only by spamming but also by sharing/discussing about "unwated" stuff. Whenever I try to discuss politics, refugees crisis or something with censorship, my comments got ghosted and nobody will see it but me. I tried for example to share this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44vzMNG2fZc with 8 accounts one multiple fb pages and it got ghosted. I am afraid of upcomming totality when if you don't have the "right" thinking, you will get censored or muted :/

Or I also tried to share this http://www.timesofisrael.com/most-israeli-jews-agree-africans-are-a-cancer/ it also got sometimes ghosted (within couple of seconds, so no one could report it). Maybe just my accounts are ghosted, but it is sad.

Seriously though, there is no such thing as freedom of speech, it is a myth.
All governments put limitations on it:

As for Facebook and similar platforms their ToS would dictate what is or is not acceptable. This may be dealt with automatically via some software or manually reviewed at which point the reviewer's prejudices, discrimination, feelings and emotions will come into play.

My advice, don't worry about posting crap to facebook, just concentrate on making money.

Are they just ghosting certain political comments from certain users depending on the country? For example are Germans banned from posting refugee comments but users in America exempt?

In the past 48 hours or so facebook has clamped down on people advertising firearms or firearm parts.

This has resulted in people posting being banned for 24 hours and the ads not been published.

Some pages with for ads have been completely deleted by facebook under this new policy which they say is to prevent US citizens from selling person to person and avoiding the federal background check (which they say is illegal but i dont know enough about US law to comment)

These pages were mostly private that you had to join to view

Mark has become a total pussy lately. I wouldn't be surprised if facebook doesn't exist in a few years or is a fraction of its size like myspace has become. Background checks for person to person sales are only required in some states so they could have just restricted those whether than during it for everyone.

It doesn't do anything but hurt facebook in the long run since it creates competition that has a high chance of beating them eventually.

Nothing new really.
In a way facebook is more of a political ("world government") instrument than a marketing / money-making one. The point of view here on BHW about that is for sure biased...
