I want to use MaxCDN on one of my larger authority sites, I've heard it is better than cloudflare. But I'm curious as to what you guys use for a cache plugin and CDN, it seems like you can "over optimize" and really just mess things up on your wordpress site by trying too many different things that will speed your site up.
I'm want to use cloudflare to host DNS, and as a way to block bot/spam visits, no site optimization though, lowest security setting.
Then use WP Super Cache with Max CDN (can be integrated via WP Super Cache UI).
Anyone ever use a similar setup? I don't want to try to have cloudflare and WP super cache to do the same thing, so I'm turning cloudflare optimization off. Also do I need to make any edits to settings on my server to allow WP super cache to run smoothly?
I've just been finding a lot of contradicting info on the web about what setups work best, and getting confusing results testing on my own.
