CCBill = Fraud ??

I am about to sign up as an affiliate for a new product I want to put on my site.

Their affiliate program is managed by CCBill.

So I, never hearing of CCBill, googled it and found a bunch of listings on ripoffreport.com. Apparently they've had some issues with hackers and ppl have been getting fraudulant charges from CCBill on their credit cards.

The company I want to promote is legit but I am not so sure about CCBill. Can anyone whos had experience with them please advise? CCBill has been around since 99 so its hard to beleive they'd still be in business is they really are ripping ppl off. Right?

I'm not entering any banking info with them but they do ask for my SSN for tax reasons...Im worried that they can do something with my SSN. ID theft or something? Am I just paranoid?

ccbill is the payment processor for almost all porn sites...you havent heard of them before? also, if that is your cobra nice. i had a twin turbo terminator for a while

Yep, nothing wrong with it.
but since its the payment processor for most of the porn sites, allots of ppl are using stolen cc to sign up., thats why you found some listings on ripoffreport.com

Nothing to be paranoid about. CCBill is indeed one of the oldest sites to take payments for "membership" sites.

I have never had a problem with them, and they have great support.

You probably saw posts from people who had their CC details stolen and used online? You'll find the same thing with any online CC processor. The amount of fraudulent purchases via CC online is extremely high and it probably affects any CC processor.

it's worrying how someone calling '' never heard '' about a company like ccbill lol , there are few pioneers on electronic payment processors , and with sure most known adult payment processor they are , you never visited any p0rn site ? I think 90%+ of them using this payment service .... you know what's means affiliate and didn't heard even about the ccbill ? by any chance heard about pay p a l gayors ? lol ?

i used, and still have a merchant acc. with ccbill, a bit complicated and high fees but pretty reliable and safe payments, no chargebacks
