This has been brought up before but thought I'd put it out there again so everyone is aware. I started testing a CB product about 2 weeks ago and it was converting nicely. About 1 in 35 Hops (targeted traffic). The problem is, according to my #'s, is that I'm still missing out on aprox. 1/3 of my sales because of CB's screwed up payment processing. Aprox. 1/3 of my interested prospects email me upset that their payment won't go through. I've had several that actually wanted to mail me a check. Anyhow, just wanted to put that out there. The screwed up thing is that It would still be a successful campaign even with the loss of all those sales. How can CB not get their shit together? It's mind boggling.

Yes it is, like Microsoft it's like they want to commit suicide. I don't understand the agenda though, if you have money fix your business. Maybe their company is being blackmailed or something.

Have you tried one of the other sites similar to CB?

Click2Sell is the first one that comes to mind...there is one more that is pretty good but I just can't think of it.

Yeah, I mean I know all the other ones out there but I keep hoping CB will get it together. They pay every 2 weeks and they're basically easy to work w/ other than some REAL screwed up payment processing problems. Even my tracking seems to be correct lately as I run a lot of my own tests to make sure. I'm at the point that I know ALL of them (CPA'S, CB, paydotcom etc) have issues. What's strange is that my #'s show that it's almost EXACTLY 33% of payments are rejected...at least in this case.

That's really gotta suck. Good luck getting it resolved though. I'd keep nagging them to fix the problem, considering it's consistently 1/3 of the payments are rejected. Seems like a bug on their end or even possibly the products. Have you tried contacting the product creator?

I have contacted the vendor and I'm waiting on a response. I only emailed him yesterday. I wanted to have all my #'s lined up before really saying anything. As far as nagging CB...probably won't do it. This is a very common occurrence and they already know it. What I might do is "drop" them a friendly email. I'm still making good $ w/ them so it's a fine line.

Yeh same here I get emailed all the time by customers saying they get the following error.

'Sorry we are unable to process your order at this time, please try again later'

I think its an overzealous fraud system that is rejecting far too legitimate customers, its been going on for months and months now and they dont seem to care, the trouble is they have the best affiliate base but the worst payment processing system its so frustrating.

Thats exactly what it is. An overzealous fraud system. They won't let people spend their own money. I can't believe these guys are still in business. How freaking hard is it to take a credit card?

Very hard actually. They have to keep chargebacks to a minimum on their merchant account or else they get blacklisted. They verify the IP of the buyer matches the same location as the card details. If they don't match they will not process your payment.

It cant be just that because all cc processors do that and you never have trouble buying from other places on the web, ive never had my card rejected and ive purchase hundreds of things online yet you see clickbanks processing problems posted everywhere on the web.

Exactly, seeing as thats the basis of there business you would think they would spend every waking hour trying to fix it instead of revamping there website with a new colour scheme. :banghead:

and there Website is slow as hell at least from germany

Hi Gun-shy! I have good contacts with click2sell owner. I already know one merchant who changed clickbank to click2sell.eu recently (from 15th of april), because suddenly clickbank decided to kick out his product from marketplace. In one day all sales stopped! So he contacted click2sell with some statistics of his product and asked for personal proposal! And quess what? He got it! Maybe you could also get good proposition from click2sell? If you're interested, pm me and i'll send owner's email.
