On saturday my clickbank sales disappeared. My links still worked (unlike closed account links) and I did not receive an email saying my account was closed. I continued to get plenty of clicks in analytics, but no sales. This account is from 2008 and I had received checks from it. I had a previous account banned last year and I thought I was in the clear because they were still sending checks for this one.

I did a test to make sure that my account was really disabled and that I wasn't just having really bad luck with sales, and sure enough my new account is recording sales just fine.

SO if your sales suddenly disappear, clickbank may have just disabled your account without telling you... Just a little warning for those CB users out there.. Hopefully they send me the money the owe me  they did when I got my first account banned last year so hopefully they do again this time...

I wish they would have just sent me an email and closed my account instead of just starting to scrub 100% of my sales without telling me because the traffic I sent them in the past 3 days has been worth $$$... gahh, oh well.

My clickbank sales have been disappearing for a while now but I haven't been banned.

It will be hard to tell if they do ban me.

Can u tell us why do u think CB close ur account?
i know this is not related to the topic...just curious

It's kinda a long story, hopefully this makes sense:
Last year my account was banned because I was comment spamming my own videos on youtube and I bought a list of accounts to use to post comments on my videos... and It turned out that the accounts I bought were phished accounts, not made up accounts (which is what I thought they were when I bought from the guy) soooo youtube didn't like that and google's "team of investigations" sent a vague email to clickbank claiming I was "attacking" their site. I immediately stopped commenting, but google lied to CB and said I did not stop.

So I guess Cb just closed my account now because a couple weeks ago I put in my SSN for the first time on that account and I guess it linked back to my old banned account... Thus they stopped recording my sales..

Nothing happened to my account lately but i see huge shavings on the clicks => sales :|

If you want to get another account, sign up and get an ein so you won't have to use the same ssn. Hopefully that will keep them from linking the 2 accounts.

I was getting awesome conversion rates, so I don't think they were shaving me up until they completely stopped recording my sales..

CB recently closed my account. The last few month I noticed I still had plenty of clicks but no sales which was unusual. I checked all of my links to make sure they were ok. I went back to my CB account and when I logged in I got an "Account Closed" message. They didn't owe me anything so I tried moving a lot of my links to some pay dot com products but they don't have as many as CB so I guess I will have to open another CB account.

Yeah, I would recommend that, don't put in your SSN or whatever though, just make another new account when your sales total gets close to $600 on your new account. I think putting my SSN in is what killed me...

Call me a noob but may i know what is SSN?

Social security number.... they require you provide that or your worker identification number(if you have one) if you make over $600 through them. The is for the US.

I am going to set up a corp anyway so I will just use my ein instead. I figured they would link it if I used any of the info from my previous account. Does anybody know of an alternative to CB except for pay dot com?

There is Click2sell and yottacash has movie downloads and stuff.

I just checked out Click2sell. I think between Click2sell and paydotcom I can do away with most of the CB products I was promoting. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the lead on yottacash. I switched from CB to yourclick when they stopped the movie downloads in April and it's not converting as well.

How does yotta convert for you?

Not that great, but all the traffic I have sent to them has been crappy. I talked to someone who works there and he claimed they are going to start some registry cleaner sites soon, if they do I will be on that if it's the type with free scans because thats what I am promoting on clickbank..
Does anyone know of any affiliate programs with high paying and high converting registry cleaners??? Because they all seem to be on clickbank...

I'm a bit confused here. Please, explain, how you can see sales (or lack of them) without logging in CB account?

The thing is I can log into my account, but I haven't made a sale yet, though I have about a thousand hops total. Is something wrong with my acount, or I just have that bad conversion rate?

They just stopped recording sales, everything else works as normal.

That's something I don't get at all. They don't record sales, but everything seems to be ok? And what should a webmaster think in such a situation, especially if he had no sales (like me) before?
