Say a person clicks on your hoplink which directs them to the product. If they, for some reason, removes the hoplink in the URL and re enters the URL, would you still get credit if they bought an item? Also does it place a cookie on their browser like most other sites?

Yeap. As long as they clicked your hoplink, a cookie is stored in their computer.
The cookie last for 60-days.
But if he/she clicks on someone else's hoplink, then your credit is gone and goes to whoever's last affiliate's hoplink the person has clicked.

Yes it does. As long as they have not cleared your cookie or gone to another website that links to the product, you would get credit. If they remove your I'd and clear their cookies and cache, you will not.
