Hello guys,

As a clickbank affiliate I would like to create a new CB account.
As the nickname would be appeared at the address bar of the customers so I want to choose a good nickname.
So what kind of nicknames you suggest please which can affect or at least does not case the number of sales to be decreased if you know what I mean?

Furthermore does CB have any limitation or something like that for CB nickname selection or they let you to choose anything you would like?

...Your nickname isn't going to make or break your success with clickbank. To ask people who don't know you to give you a nick name... I don't compute.

This is something you need to come up with.
 
For selling a product, I might care, but when I signed up as an affiliate, I considered the nickname to be pretty much irrelevant.

Why buddy? Then people will find that they are buying from an affiliate, don't they?

So you say that the nickname has NOTHING to do with the number of sales for an affiliate?
 
I forgot to say that I am selling the CB products via Youtube if it matters!!
 
If you are concerned about the nickname affecting sales (because it shows in the address bar), consider asking the vendor to cloak it for you.

We cloak all our affiliates' clickbank IDs by default, as it can indeed put some customers off.

Thanks Mancar,How they do that (I want to say to my vendor to do that for me)? And does it affect only me or the whole of affiliates who promote vendors product? does it have any pros and cons for vendors (the cons specially)?I know that it is possible to mask the hoplink via the purchased domain as well, but I guess it can affect the counting of the sales somehow, right?Thanks buddy...
 
I forgot to say Mancar that I am about to create a new CB account, so It won't be bad to choose a good nickname, so what is your suggestion please (at least for those vendors who do won't accept the above request you gave to my by your kind)...
 
I'm not sure if this was already suggested, but I made my CB name a random string of numbers. The reason for this was I didn't want a hoplink with "moneymaker1999" or something stupid in it. I 301 a domain so at first glance the name doesn't show in hop, but after redirected it has my affil name in link and also at check out page. A string of random numbers looks just like random query in the URL and not a blatant affiliate link.

There are many ways to do that; personally we use an inhouse script. There are no cons at all, other than some affiliates may get worried when they do not see their hop name in the address bar. However, you can easily check if your hop is being passed, by clicking on the order link and scrolling to the bottom of the page. It will say [ affiliate = YOURID]

Otherwise, I concur with the poster above that a random string of numbers works well.

And about "random string of numbers". what kinds of numbers are better to be used? And how many number is better please?

Hiding your affiliate link will increase sales.
and its easy to check,
 
I believe you can get it hidden if you ask, but I really don't think it will affect your sales.
