http://expireddomains.net/ they have all expired domain List. From Free to Premium. Give it a Try. You can also sort all domain according to backlink age, extension and many such options.

Yes, Godaddy can't compete with NameJet or SnapNames..

I suggest you to go thorough
, they list the expiring domains from snapnames, namejet and godaddy. You can also try dynadot but you don't find many quality domains there.

Use RegisterCompass it can tell you wich domains are expiring with high PR, age, authority etc, you can get some good gold nuggets with this one
