I use hostgater for my main hosting and you just have to call them and ask them to turn on catchall on whatever domain you want it turned on. Just be careful about hitting it to hard or your @domain will start to be blacklisted. (It happened to me on another domain and I never use my main one anyway.)
For this it is best to get cheapest hosting on shared IP.
Any hosting with Cpanel will do.
You can get Hostgator for 1c for first month or HawkHost for like $3/mo.
Then there is a also an option to get Gmail with catch all for $5/mo.
Then just get a Vultr cloud server and set your SMTP there if you know any Ubuntu (you should be OK with guides as well).
Vultr offers $50 credit for first 2 months for free and then its just $5/mo.
They also do not limit emails out/in and if your IP will get blacklisted you can clone your server to new machine = new ip.
If you use Xrumer for example you can have xxx,xxx activation links coming in daily, the hosts i have been on monitor the incoming traffic then you get the standard warning emails
I am looking for this too...The cheapest I found that has unlimited incoming wild card email accounts is Namecheap Value hosting with is ~$7/(1st)yr this is for up to 3 domains includes CPanel...($38/yr after) But it has a 200/emails per hour SEND limit/per domain. This might not be enough for my non spammy usage...
