Hi guys,

I'm new here and it is my first post ever written on BHW :)

I'm also new in affiliate business. I'm running a gambling website/blog. I wrote a lot of quality content, set links, got some visitors and finally wanted to monetize it. So I went to one of affiliate websites and put reviews of five online casinos on my website. Results:

Daily some 10 clicks
>50% of clicks end in downloads

and now the best:

3% of clicks end in registrations (what doesn't bring me any money)

and I have exactly 0 joins :)

Even though I understand that that my traffic is low, or even pathetic, still don?t get it that almost half of guys download software and no one makes deposit!

Questions:

what is "normal" % of joins from clicks?
Is the problem the fact that most of visitors of casinos download the software first and register through software and that can?t be tracked?? (just guessing)
Some country restrictions (no most of my visitors don?t come from USA)?

Thanks for suggestions!

Cheers

D.

I don't know answer of your question, but have small advice for you.
I often register from affiliate on poker room.
Next thought (for example) "Hmm, naah.. I don't look for that. This room isn't for me".

After few days I found great promo in this room, for example no deposit bonus.
"Wait, wait! I have account there! Ok I will deposit funds"

From my experience like poker player, I rarely deposit funds after the register.:peace:

thanks, but what's the advice? :) You want to say just sit and wait, till someone who registered two months ago makes some deposit? Tried, but nothing happened :)

That's okey, the best part with casino affiliate is that you can earn money even if the costumer dosent deposit anything.
But that is very litle traffic you have so you got to give it some time, and add more casinos. If the visitors is searching for casino bonuses they'll sign up at more then one site at the time if it's a good bonus.

Spinoff: Once upon a time i wanted to start a blog for casino affiliates, I never finnished the project and got tired of it but i added a list of some of my favorite casinos and programs along with revenue share info. Check it out at www.netentaffiliates.com

If you don't mind I would love to see the site, feel free to pm me :)

thanks, good advice indeed! What do you mean by "earn money even if customer doesn't deposit anything" - I think it depends on affiliate program? I have one that payes me only for deposit. Maybe I have to change it. I would like to send pm, but may not until 15 posts :D

I use revenue share and promoting (mostly) free offers, but once a visitor sign up and take part of the bonus and wagger it the bonus money will become real money and like that, they are playing with real money. (It's possable to get negativ income aswell but I'm not promoting programs with negativ-carryover) :)

Oh I explained the situations but forgot about advice:bigeyes2:

Keep calm with leads, few % of these players will deposit. Some of them can become pro players with huge deposit.

Here http://www.bankrollmob.com/ you have huge amount of free poker bankrolls, no deposit bonus, freerolls. Players love free cash to start

So your advice is to promote bankrollmob instead?

1. Do not track downloads because they dont mean anything. The majority of consumers will abandon the download but your the casino affiliate program will still record it as a download.

2. My online casino gambling campaigns generally have a registration to deposit ratio of 8%. I think the range is generally 3% to 12% depending on the traffic source, casino and promotion. But, if your click to registration ratio is 3% and you assume a pessimistic registration to deposit ratio of 5% then you can you can project a click to deposit ratio of .15% (3%*5%). In other words 3 depositing players for every 2000 clicks.

The other option you have is to go to odigger and find out pay per lead offers they have. you wont make mush for lead but you would be making some money everyday that would equal what u would made from signup.
once u have data......you can always shift

FYI...to all those running casino /gaming related websites. I own and operate several electronic cigarette websites and an electronic cigarette brand. Please contact me to discuss potential long term partnerships to make some real cheddar!

Are you saying that everyone that gambles smoke? :D
