I've heard mixed reactions when I speak of starting a casino affiliate website. Some people think I'm crazy as this niche is very saturated and has warned me against starting one. They say it requires lots of money to start one (I'm not sure what they mean by that) and that it's already saturated with the big dogs.

So I'm asking here, before I proceed with this niche, is it still viable to start a casino affiliate website in 2021 for a beginner?

Starting a casino affiliate website is quite different than your conventional niche website if you done the keyword research and looked at competing websites you would know what I mean.

How would link building work? All I see are PBN's on literally every website.

I have a list of low comp long-tail keywords already. Just second-guessing if I should proceed.

Traffic source will be SEO.

Still it is good to legit, if you are ready to research your competitors, keywords etc more than you expect. Regular update is must.

Links are good to use for better results. But the quality speaks more than the quantity for longer projects.
You can proceed with the long tail keywords if you are sure about the low competition.

Its hard niche, not gonna lie. If you want to have any chance of success you need either really deep pockets, commit a fuckton of time, or best both, to find end exploit any decent link building opportunity. And this is assuming you have good keyword research and properly written content, because that is what makes or brakes the websites in this niche.

Casinos are some of the biggest money makers on earth. it makes billions a year, so it takes tons of money to make it. Give it a shot, maybe it works for you

ranking a new casino affsite ? its going to be a tough job. another option would be to get a nice lp built and buy cheaper traffic from tier2&3 geos.

Link building in casino niche works completely normal! I'm talking about paid and do-follow links.
Good luck

Yeah, you'll need a good chunk of $$$ to get into that niche.

There's Casino affiliates spending $100k+ in backlinks/PPC ads etc per month. Can you afford that? Then go for it!

Hi! You will need to take advertising from casino streamers because they will show your site and show the scam or not. I also think you need to have a starting amount for this case.

There is no doubt about if it's still worthy as the casino industry is one of the most growing and this tendency doesn't seem to fall. You only need to put in some extra work to find the best partners and affiliates that can improve your conversions in a long run. And yes, you should be aware of competitors and check their activity once in a while, but if you put in some effort it can bring you many benefits given the fact the nature of the industry.
