Shame to cash out now, I don’t think it’s the best time.

But if you have to, I agree Local bitcoins is definitely the best place.

I totally agree, I would like to keep hold of them. However, I also need a new apartment and get it all ready before Xmas, so will have to cash out.

BTC is a buyers market at the moment and if i was in a better situation, I would be buying more bitcoins.. however, since I don't.. and I really need money for a new place, I am going to have to cash out :( it's a sad day but has to be done.

I was wondering though, has anyone had experience selling on localbitcoin ?

do you know if you can just get 1 vendor to buy the whole lot of me ? would prefer to get the money in 1 go, rather than $20 here and there, etc.

Thanks again

As already said use locabitcoins.

Sign up to the website, then transfer your BTC from your private wallet (or whereveer it is being held) to your localbitcoins wallet address (provided for you after signing up), then click on sell BTC and choose the 'national bank transfer' option. Now select any one of the buyers on the list but choose one with lots of postive reviews and 100% feedback (99% is ok too i guess). Click on sell BTC button, and you are away.

The BTC will be held in escrow while the buyer transfers the funds to your account. He will tell you once he has sent the money. When he does, check your bank account statment online. If funds are in your account, then click the 'release BTC button and finishsed. The whole process will take anything from 10 - 60mins to sell the BTC and et the money.

There you go, spoonfed (And yes 1 vendor can buy everything)!

Localbitcoins is fine. Got advice here on BHW on how to use it safely and I have used it since. Just find reputable members, especially bank transfer in your own city, you will be 99% safe.

Honestly if this is not enough for the OP, then seems he is looking for someone on BHW to PM him and scam with his fake BTC. EIGHT different members have now replied use 'localbitcoins'!

Local bitcoins are simple and quick way to cash out!

LocalBitcoin.

I unfortunately had to cash out urgently when I just moved to Thailand and lost my card, and move-in rent (3x monthly rent) was due so went to localbitcoins to sell it.

Gotta say, it was real sketch going to a crowded Mcdonalds where you have people watching you go into the Mcdonalds, sit down, get handed a brick of Thai Baht and leave a few seconds later.

It's safe - check the buyer's history and meet him face-to-face in a crowded place in public. You initiate transfer to escrow, he hands you the cash, and you confirm the transfer (right infront of him). Simple & effective system. Painful to type this as the amount sold is now worth 5 figures lol.
