Cashing out $1000 in BTC

I have $1000 still in my btc wallet and I am really needing the money now to put towards a new apartment. Can any one help advise me on the best way to cash out these days. I haven't really been involved in btc now for nearly 2 years.

sell on localbitcoins , you will recieve the cash in your bank account or anything you want from buyer

If I go the Localbitcoin route, how easy is it to sell bitcoins ? I am needing money quick but I also don't want to get ripped of either for my bitcoin. I really need the whole $1000 at least, I have exactly $1037 in btc at the moment.
 
I've used local bitcoins and never had and issue. Obviously, use people who have reviews.

Yes, you will pay the highest fees, but it's the quickest way to get cash for your Bitcoin. You will probably get a little less than $1k after the fees.

When you find a buyer, ask if they want to use the escrow or wallet to wallet. Make sure you know how to transfer bitcoins before going.

dont take high profit..put 3-5% and sell it .. lot of way you can get money in your bank or western union. btw paxful is the good way tho

Are you saying I can sell btc faster on paxful ?

what is interesting to me, is that I have found some threads whilst researching where people are buying btc and then selling it at 20% markup.. however, I don't mind loosing a little bit but i don't want to loose to much of it's value. I really need that $1000, as it will cover me for my new apartment, with a tiny bit left to put towards some new things for the place.

any advise offered is greatly appreciate and i want to thank everyone who is tuning in and offering advise.

do you have to send btc up front ?

how long does it usually take to recieve payment through bank transfer ? My bank is a uk one, so would it be delayed ?

UK bank is the most easy and UK exchange service in UK most are good
 
Shame to cash out now, I don’t think it’s the best time.

But if you have to, I agree Local bitcoins is definitely the best place.
