I have this great idea. Let's say you are making money from CPA,SEO or whatever, and your getting $1000 a month profit. I'm thinking of creating a company that would give you a bond or insurance to protect you just incase you lose that income stream. Ofcourse lawyers will be involved and everything will be legit, but tell me you guys don't you think this would be a good idea if we had some cashflow protection with our online endeavors. Let me know your feedback.

I would need to investigate to verify the legitimacy of the crash, and if it falls under our terms we provide. Ofcourse there are going to be alot of people who will try to commit fraud, but generally there are real people out there that would benefit from this type of service. Remember back when Google hit thousands of affiliates with the famous Google Slap. That one change in there terms and services destroyed so many affiliates. This would be a way to protect affiliates, and there source of income from market changes.

True, it seems like the incentives are reversed here.

I have heard about insurance pools where startup companies would share equity with other startups in the pool. But in that case, they would profit big if they sold their company. So the companies all did their best to try to make a good company and sell.

With this insurance idea, it's more like socialism. So if your venture doesn't do well, you're like: "Fuck it, someone else will support me"

People do Auto Insurance Fraud all the time... That doesn't stop Insurance companies from being in business.
