Nice concept Cashcorp....
Exactly! Take the concept and play with it like ptpatil did which was excellent. Cashcorp has given the blueprint out and it's up to you (myself included) to test it out.
The problem I notice on here is everybody wants to be given a way to do things which is great, but you have to TRY what is given to you! So what if they close your paypal, you learned something and just open another one.
Test, test and more test. Just by reading this thread it got me thinking outside the box on how I could apply this method or parts of it to other projects. So thank you Cashcorp and keep the great info coming

or you could have it kinda like the wholesale list thing people do with Ebay, leave that one little detail so small an in the middle of a long TOS that they agree to. then i dont see a problem. (whens the last time you read all of the TOS on a site ?) for me ,.... never! lol

Not to be paranoid or anything, but would this method be illegal in some places, since its like youre running a type of lottery (gambling) without appropriate licenses to do so?
Regardless of that (this is a BLACKHAT forum after all...) I wouldnt recommend using your "real" PayPal account for this, as they might frown upon such a practice.

I'm sure if you kept this real simple like a $1 to sign up and not try to push every single offer/product under the sky - you'd get better results.
It's like in sales, when you're trying to sell someone a car - you typically want them to come back for their next purchase or send a referral...
You don't try to sell them all 12 cars they are expected to have in a lifetime in one shot...
You get them with a $1...then push for slightly higher priced offers down the road on the backend...
If you try to smash em' upfront - you'll scare more people away since it'll look pretty fraudulent...
If they only lose $1 or so...they most likely won't come back and "get" you...especially when you consider the amount of time they'd have to invest to get their "pennies" back...

I believe there are Lottery laws in certain states. There are a few people who have gone to jail for trying to lottery off their houses for $100 tickets, collecting hundreds of tickets, and awarding the house to one of the people or someone else that they know.

In most states, raffles or lotteries are either outright illegal or are only permitted to be conducted by certain permissible not-for-profit organizations. There's also usually very detailed reporting and bonding requirements that go along with it for those organizations that are permitted to do it.
A possible way around this might be to give the entry ticket away with the purchase of something of value (like companies do with contests or promotions). Still, to be legal this way, the fine print must say that anyone may request an entry ticket for free without the purchase and you would still have to deal with the necessary required state reporting and record-keeping requirements if you wanted to be legit.

I think using the affiliate angle would make it more legit - straight up taking raffle tickets IS illegal in most if not all us states. If you were to have a tight tos and use affiliate traffic as a source of income from it (signup to xyz offer and email afterwards) or something.
It's a great method in theory - and you probably wouldnt have to worry about it if you changed domains/paypal accounts often, however it's def super super blackhat, and probably illegal if you do it for straight cash.
Def got my gears moving though - and I think I have away around it legal wise, that would flow the exact same way as described (for all intents and purposes). Let it marinade, and I will post an update soon.
