[CASE STUDY] What converts better?

Well since I got 2500 free credits on vagex I decided to do a little research and see what converts better.

What do you think converts better a movie, an episode of a serie or a game?

I am going to upload videos of each of the following topics to youtube:
1. A movie which has already been released and I am currently downloading the movie on torrent. However I haven't yet checked the competition on youtube which is where I am going to get traffic from.
2. A game which has been released lately and I downloded the crack of it.
3. An episode of a nice but not so known serie but it has really low competition on youtube however not so many views. I am downloading the episode right now.

With all of these files I am going to lock them, put them on another rar file which will include a read me txt which will redirect to a content locked page with the password to the movie/game/episode.

I am going to uplaod 1 video each day for a whole week after I finish organizing my blogger blogs , which will be one for each opic. and then I will put 100 views for each video I upload with vagex and by the end of the next week I will post the final results if there are any

Well I am going to start uploading vids on sunday and so on for a week and then we will see what happens.

Until the end of this week I am going to finish my blogs and make it all ready for the big sunday.

Thing I have done today:
* downlaoded the crack to the game
* downloaded a review of the game by ign which I am going to put on one of the vids.
* I am currently downloading the movie
* I am currently downloading the episode

One questions I have is:
If I upload a review by ign to youtube , will I get banned?

I hope to see some results by the end of this case study and I will try to update every day with my progress.

Even though I guess nobody cares about this case study I am going to continue it because it brings me motivation and energy to keep TAKING ACTION which has always stopped me before from making money online.
In addition this thread keeps me organized so it is really good for me and I am not going to stop it.

Things I have done today:
* All the downloads were finshed
* Created the file to the movie that I am going to upload to mediafire and megaupload
* Same with the episode
* Same with the crack of the game

Things I still need to do today:
*upload the movie ,the game and he episode to mediafire and megaupload

I am going to this at night. And tomorrow I will build the blogs.
And after that I am going to make all the vids and start uploading them , one each per day.

I hope I will see some results and if I don't then I will just try something else(other game/movie/serie) and will not give up because I am done with starting something and giving up - this time I will NOT give up until I make some CASH out of this!

question by the time you get everything setup won't that episode be out of date and demand for the movie die down? i think you should work in the other direction and get the blog up and running first. Just make them generic so that they are not episode specific. just my two cents but good luck

alterbuu - you are right therefore I decided to start uploading the videos tomorrow and I have also decided not to build blogs but promoting the mediafire/megaupload links straight from the youtube vids.
In addition, I am providing the movie in dvdrip which no body else does and the episode I am promoting is getting aired only on the 1.2.2012 - it sure is close but i will try to make as much as money from it as i can.

Things I have done today:
*I have uploaded the episode to megaupload and not to mediafire because it is too big to upload in one part and I do not really care if it is on mediafire or not and actually i do not want to split it to two parts.
* I am currently uploading the movie to megaupload and again not to mediafire because of the above mentioned fact.
* I have made 7 vids for the game with a watermark to the mediafire download with video spin blaster
* I have made 7 vids for the episode and watermarked it with the megaupload link

Tomorrow I am going to do the following things:
* make 7 vids to the movie and watermark it with the megaupload link
* upload 1 episode vid , 1 game vid and 1 movie game
* give each of them 100 views from vagex


I have some questions that I hope some1 can help me:
1. I am using SC and fileice to monetize this. I know content locking the password on blogger would be better but people are able to see the password before the locker is up. And they can get it when they see the source code of the page. So eventually I decided to monetize it with fileice and SC because no one ( as far as i know) bypass it. Can you help me to find a way to do it with content locking?
2. should i blank the traffic I am getting? can SC or fileice ban me for doing this?

As come for today I had my very first earning on SC !

Things I have done today:
* I uploaded one video for each type of file to youtube = 3 videos in total.
* I made some google alerts notes that include the name of the movie, the name of the tv serie and the name of the game .
* I already got some emails to my mail that alerted me about new blog posts related to my movie keyword. I commented on all of them ( I think it was 5-6 in total ) and I am almost sure that I got my earning from there.
* I put 100 views on each video I uploaded from vagex

well I am happy I made some money with this and I hope that if I keep going like this I will make some more money.

Meanwhile I have nothing to do in this other than uploading 3 vids per day and commenting in the blogs that google alerts send me.

I am going to this until the end of the next week and then try other game/movie/tv serie or episode.

In a couple of days I am going to update this thread with not only what I have done until now which is yt+locked files. I am going to try to write reviews for clickbank products and get traffic from yt and google alerts just like ilovechucktaylor told me in this thread:

And I am going to see what converts better - writing a review to a well established and known product that has some reputation out there or writing review to an unreleased product that only launches in a couple of weeks.

Today I didn't have so much luck like yesterday which means I haven't made any money today but I believe that if I keep this going I will make a bit more money out of it.

Things I have done today:
* Uploaded the 3 vids to yt
* Put 100 vagex credits to each
* Sent messeges to 10 people on yt who commented on videos related to the movie,tv serie and game
* Commented on the sites that google alerts sent me

I have already uploaded a couple of videos to each type of file but I am thinking to change the movie, tv serie and game .
However I am not so sure about it.
Should I change the movie/game/tv serie ? or stay with the same for the next week?
Because I think almost all the vids that I upload to each type is the same. I mean that the vid for the game is similar to the other vid of the game except of the title . This is why I though about changing it every couple of days. Should I or not do it?

And about the clickbank product review. I am still looking for a niche and some products to review. I hope I will start with it in a couple of days.

About the clickbank products I haven't made any progress however after my tests I will start working on it.

And I also wanted to mention that I am going to upload two tv series/movies/games each week and 3 vids per movie/game/tv serie . ( At saturday I rest or complete things I haven't done ) and this is going to be until I make a passive income of at least $10 a day. But until the end of this week I am going to see what converts better and update you guys.

Yesterday I got back home from my trip which included many tests thus I was really tired and could not continue this then. I haven't seen any progress in my earnings and was very disappointed. However today I have realized that except of my crack game in mediafire all my megaupload links got deleted which means I do not get money because my tv serie episode and the movie were only on megaupload.

One of my videos on yt which is the tv serie one got 300 views after I put only 100 so it means that I missed 200 potential money makers . Such a mistake of mine. But I learn from it. I will check if my files are up every day and will not do this mistake again.

Things I have done today:
* re-uploaded my tv serie episode to megaupload
* chose 1 new movie/game/tv serie
* got pictures for all of them nd a couple of trailers

Things I am planning to do tomorrow :
* create fake rar archieves to each type of file and make all the password method with it
* create the vids
* upload the rars to mediafire and megaupload
* re-upload the movie file to megaupload

I hope that after I re-upload the files that I already got the vids up for I will earn a couple of dollars.

First of all I want to apologize for not updating lately it is just because I have a couple of important tests coming soon.

Things I have done :
* uploaded the new rars = movie,game,episode
* uploaded one vid to each rar
* put 100 credits to each vid on vagex
* commented on the sites that google alerts provided
* commented on popular vids related to mine

Haven't made any money lately...well I am not going to give up and upload every day 3 vids and every 3 days changing the game,movie and episode.

However I waned to mention that I do get downloads of the rar files but no one downloads the password.

the download from megaupload and mediafire are:
game 1 = 44 downloads
game 2 = 3 downloads (only today I have promoted it on yt)
movie 1 = 45 downloads ( I re-uploaded the file two days ago )
movie 2 = 4 downloads ( I uploaded it today )
serie 1 = 10 downloads ( I re-uploaded it yesterday )
serie 2 = 0 downloads ( I uploaded it today )

As you can see I got almost 100 downloads but no one tries to get the password , therefore I do not get money - what can I do to improve this?

Do you know how to make a file be bigger than it really is? lets say I have a 10 MB file and I want to make it into rar and 700MB - what should I do?
Any suggestions?

Put a movie hidden in a folder ? lol

Did you try to simply put a CPA offer in description?
Or redirect them on your website FOR downloading the crack or whatever and content lock it?

This isn't an inspiration only for you, but there is a lot for people like mt yo learn here. Good one.

Today I haven't done any thing because tomorrow I have a big test however I wanted to inform you about the downloads:
movie 1 = 258 downloads
movie 2 = 18 downloads
tv serie 1 = 27 downloads
tv serie 2 = 5 downloads
game 1= 53 downloads
game 2 = 34 downloads

I haven't money from this yet but I am going to chagne it. About the twist I mentioned before I am not going to implement it because I have found out that it is not going to convert and that it is an old method.

Instead I am going to do split testing to the files - I am going to content lock the password on a blogger blog and in the other files I am going to provide the file and add a read me txt that ask the visitors to fill a survey in order to thanks me or something.(They won't have to do it- the file will not be locked)

In addition to all of this I will try to make some money out of adfly by shorting the links. I might get some cents every week, but hey it is better than nothing.

Moreover, I wanted to mention that I am willing to do a jv where I get the traffic to the file you create and you make the traffic that I get to convert. If anyone is inerested send me a PM...
