I think most people are accusing registrars unnecessarily, or getting upset when their domains are snatched when the registrar presents recently search domains to somebody else looking something similiar.

So let's put this to test.

I will be registring these 5 domains in 10 days.

ABRACUBRABIZ
.
XOM/NET/ORG/US/BIZ

All available and no one with sane mind will go anywhere hear this gibberish.

Let's try GoDaddy. Please search, add to cart, or do whatever you want from Daddy and lets see what will happen in 10 days when i go to register.

Plz play fair. Don't register for the sake of registering so community would weed out lemons.

Just added it to my cart and cancelled it. Will update in 10 days.

You shoulda kept one s,.ecret. I'm sure some one here will registe_r them just to be an a-hole.

2 days on and none of these domains are taken. I have added them to my cart 2 times. Searched them from daddy's site, etc.

So where are all these registrar bashing morons? It is always easier to blame your own stupidity on others than looking at the mirror.

*yawn*

Wow, what an interesting thread

So 1 week passed. And none of these domains are taken.

Observations:

- They show relevant results to other people when you look for a domain. Those people might be grabing your domains.

- Whois data might not be available from the registrar making you think the domain is available.

CONCLUSION:
Please blame your own imbecility now instead of blaming registrars blatantly.

Yea ok.

Did it occur to you they don't prebuy all the searches, just the good ones with certain keywords location in the title?

Right, if my aunty had balls, she would have been my uncle.

I think Godaddy doesn't necessarily buy every domain that gets searched or added to a cart. I think it needs to have some kind of brandable value, they probably run queries through an automated appraiser and ones that have a deemed value get flagged.

It would cost them a lot of money to snatch up every domain that gets searched, that domain isn't worth reg.

I dont get it... why should someone want to have one of these domains?

Godaddy isnt registering all domains just in case. The problem is that the requests for new domains are shown to a community in godaddy that pay for the service. And when they see a good domain name that was requested then they take it.

So now why should one of these members buy one of your domains?
