Great write up indeed on the basics of SEO, for most localized business keywords in cities that don't have millions of residents that would work wonders. In a metropolitan area like NYC, that may not do as well as you see.
What you really need are solid, high PR links, or atleast links for high PR domains (not Web 2.0 sites, but actual blogs/websites). Basically I'd recommend getting tricky, is there any way that you can think outside of the box on a method to get a high PR links? Maybe you can sponsor an event that targets specific bloggers that are in your city and cover your niche? Maybe the business does a giveaway of $XXX on whatever product they are selling? In a city like NYC, that will attract bloggers, tweets, and a bunch of potential social media. Which is a factor in SEO these days!
I also noticed that you mentioned very little about social aspects, like Tweets, Facebook shares/likes, etc. Get creative, SEO isn't just about links these days.
Any improvement that generates new visitors is always welcomed.
one thing that was of interest to me, I noticed that your bounce rate was rather high. do you have your tracking on all your pages? make sure you do.
Also, when you get a chance, look at the quality of your traffic, is it converting, if it is, then enjoy the cash flow.
personally I like bing/msn traffic the most, for some reason it convert way better than google traffic ( some times up to 50% better )

Yes, you are "allowed". But only if you are crazy to do so.I have a question, are we allow to scrapebox comments to client's main site?
