[Case Study] Ranking website with High PR, Low OBL, Footer backlinks!

I never mentioned it in this thread, I was discussing how ridiculous the premise of this thread is... and how it risks outing one of the best networks out there and harming thousands of webmasters.

Huh? My comment was in response to your last comment were you clearly did mention your earnings

"Don't bother claiming things without actually searching out the information. I recently verified my earnings in another thread, which are slightly more than 7 figs net in 2012"

I never mentioned your earnings in my other post to you, I was talking about your boasting, jibberish and attitude to people or "forum of noobs" as you put it....

I am very interested in seeing how this progresses, had SAPE links on a main eComm site for a few days and got cold feet - deleted the links. Might try them out on a smaller site. Obviously people are using these successfully, it's just a matter of knowing what the trick is.

Even in 4 niches which i track, top ranking sites using links from sape networks dropped in rankings, they are all on page 5-6 now.

Honestly, what do you think I do all day? I could actually retire right now if I chose to, but I'd like to have more saved.

Wow really? Your so full of it.

Not to long ago you were looking for someone to split the cost of AMR, a software that cost $87.

Code:
blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/affiliate-programs/301097-splitting-amr-anyone-interested.html

OP keep on doing what your doing.

Mr Nick,

How did you find the SAPE signup process?, I had a look at it a while back and it didn't seem particularly English-language-friendly and required passport/ID details?!? If it works out for you I would gladly pay a middle-man to deal with SAPE as the rumoured results from their links are golden! :)

Well actually I know Russian language and my have relatives in Russia so registering on SAPE wasn't too complicated for me.

Well in my opinion links from relevant pages is the key here.
All my links are mostly in very similar niche. But I have seen some posts here on BHW where people say non-relevant links are also working great.

Well, in my niche top websites are also using SAPE links (I even found their backlink on one of my backlinks page lol), and they are already having stable rankings for over 1 months.
Maybe there was some other reason in your case? I mean negative SEO or something?

why sape use only the russian language?? LOL its hard to translate all

Would everyone let OP carry on his case study already? Case studies are just examples of how something works, or does not work...nothing more, nothing less.

For the record, I know that a few have posted being slapped in a week and I am sure it is true. But there are 2 sites in the top 10 (#1 and #4) that have a VERY healthy dose of Russian footer links for a 200k p/month volume kw. Certainly is not their ONLY link building strategy but it is the most prevalent strategy they used according to Majestics backlink checker....

Yeah agreed lets let the OP get on with it then and good to see someone does their homework, theres no doubt these are working the evidence is all over the top spots for big kws at the moment, yeah you need to be doing other link building alongside them and you need a good dose.

I've been working on a site for around 4 months very high comp kws with no serious movement it was pissing me off, when i added a nice amount of these bad boys it was not long before it started to move and move a lot, these kws are tough the main one with local searches 1,220,000 and global 9,140,000! http://i.imgur.com/0tyYh.jpg?1 thats the main kw, its early days for these but theres 5 of them moving upwards now all with very high search volume and competition, good luck OP I'll continue to watch this and help were I can.

I've seen a few as well. There is one major problem about SAPE. I doubt backlink from it could handle manual check. It is good for experiments but not for long term results in the near future. Sape is more and more popular since last 3 years and and this publicity could/will ruin that business.

That's interesting experience, maybe you can share some stats with us?
Based on your experience, roughly how many links would you need to rank in TOP 3 on keyword let's say "debt consolidation" (I choosed this randomly just to have the idea how much it costs to rank on big keywords)?
Also, what are some of the services sold in buy/sell category here on BHW you'd recommend to use with those type of backlinks?

Sorry guys I wasn't able to update this theard yesterday.
I have placed some backlinks yesterday and today too, I'll now post stats for both days combined:

Day 6 & Day 7:
Total number of backlinks indexed: 4
Total number of backlinks placed: 38
1x PR5
15x PR4
17x PR3
4x PR2
1x PR1
SERP movement: N/A

Here is the exciting news:
I noticed I had 11 months old domain name on my namecheap account and I wasn't using it so I decided to setup wordpress on it and add some articles, this was about a week ago and I was going to do standard backlinking strategy just as I'm doing on my other projects but I still decided to try those SAPE links on it because main keyword is low competitive.
I placed 3 backlinks 9 days ago and 7 Backlinks 4 days ago. right now 2 of them are indexed.
And the main thing is that this website is on #9 already with those 2 backlinks ONLY!

So yeah, those backlinks are actually working :)
I'll carry on with this case study and won't stop until I'll see some good results with the main website I'm working on.

Thanks for your time :)

Thank you all for sharing valuable info above.

What PR are those two backlinks ?? I'm currently using SERP Zilla its pretty cool but very expensive.

Hey man, we are sending around 200 links at a time from sape at this site drip fed out over 15 days, that site I posted the screenshot of rankings from has been worked on by myself for around 4 months, its gone through the standered link building we do with everyone plus through a heavy tierd web 2.0 campaign, it wouldn't move was very frustrating, as soon as I started sending sape links it began to move, I posted that to give you encouragement and show what it can do I don't boast or feel like i have any need too tbh enough of that around, but as you can see these are big volume kws, sape is impressive stuff.

Good to see your moving upwards man keep up the good work!

It's good to see a public test of this type of links, good job OP.
I see you're inclined to buy more high PR links (3-4) and little amount of low PR. I bet it's unusual pattern for g00gle, if you continue to buy high PR links only, this site can by caught by one of those malefic filters.

One of my customers did his own test, I share it results.
it's middle competitive keyword and only 100 links used.
no other SEO done for this domain.

Great case study.
I'm sorry if it has been discussed before, are the sape links sidewide or non sidewide?

@Ascura
on sape you are paying monthly fee for a backlink on only one single page of domain.

@Stizerg
Yeah most likely you are right, I'll start purchasing some PR-0-1 backlinks from same-niche websites starting tomorrow, thanks.

Day 8:
No big changes today. Same, 4 backlinks are being indexed..
Still no SERP movement..

But the good thing is that that second website which has only 2 backlinks indexed, is ranking on #10 on second low competitive keyword (so in total it ranks #9 for first keyowrd and #10 for second keyword).
I have shared links of the backlinks for this website on my twitter with 16k followers (about 2,000 really active, others are fake) let's see if this will help indexing.

Thanks for following me guys :)

Yeah, most people won't do this because of the costs associated, and because buying these links alone won't generally do it for sites. A site will need $10-20k invested in sape to rank for something big, and honestly alone they probably won't work for long enough to get a positive ROI.

You won't believe it but it is much much less than $20K. Way less. For something big. That's exactly why people who are outing the network here now are (censored).

You can make a huge ROI with churn-n-burn strategy though which IMO now is the best way to go.

I agree you can, but alone these links won't do it from my tests. When I use my own tools I've built first, and then other link types as well as these that's when I see the best results (and best ROI of course). My point that this test is not worth going after, as he's using only such links, so any gains will be very short lived unless the niche is very low competition.
