[case study] Ranking an affiliate site with 0 backlinks

This is interesting for sure. But this makes me question some of the "gurus" out there who claim to have built sites that make four figures based only on good/long-form content and absolutely no link building.

Did you use authority content?

Great results, OP

Did you hire someone to find low comp keywords?

SEO sellers here will not like you thread
For how many keywords you are ranked now and what is the best position?
how many articles do you have on the website?

@zionbar Hello sir.
Thanks for this great share
I got 2 newbie questions if you don't mind, please :)
1- What the keyword should have as a ratio to be a low comp keyword?
2- Is it a good idea to put Ads network in Amazon Affiliate Blog ( for example Adsense )

nice case study. it will work only for super low competition isn''t? it's hard to find low comp keywords with a lot of monthly searches

This is total wrong LOL ! The hard part is choosing RIGHT keywords, niche

So you're basically agreeing with my post, just for a different reason. Let's agree to disagree on which is the hardest part. But we agree there is at least ONE hard part. That means the OP results are not typical at all, and that was the point of my reply.

The post said he went after medium competition keywords, built a poorly written site then did nothing until it was time to check the stats and see he had made $500. Are you saying those results are pretty typical in 2019?

Yes I think it will better than a new domain. Here is my result:

1. Domain: Auction at goddady with $45
2. Contents: only 3 articles: Best of XXX(1200/each).
3. Published date: 20days ago ( from 12/04/2019 to 12/24/2019)
4. Link building: Do nothing, just post and forget.

GREAT! could you elaborate on how you picked that domain ? what was your process? did u run it through ahref and looked for backlinks or what?

Also someone asked how many articles i have about 25... I was gonna have 30 but then 5 of them were pretty similar so i combined them to 1 big one

Great case study. Btw what are the rankings and volumes of your keywords? How many of them are ranking on 1st 3 positions? And how many of them are in the 1st page?

That's a nice case study. The key here, with backlinks or otherwise, is to have good keywords to target to begin with.

I’m not calling you stupid. But in my opinion it’s stupid to public share what worked for you if you discovered it by yourself and it brings you money. People will copy that and then it comes competition who will do the same.

I also discovered some methods by myself which I didn’t see anywhere someone is also using them and I would never post a thread to teach others how they can also do it, as long as it brings me good profit.

Why create yourself competition?

Yes there are tons of different niches. But still I would keep everything in private everything what i discover by myself.

Because that's what they want. They build backlinks and rank and bank while you build content and rank 100+.
They say it to eliminate competition.

Just think for yourself... why would you share how you rank so you get hundreds or thousands extra competitors .

Great case study mate. Thanks for the valuable info. Few questions,

1. What is the KD level (below 30?) and the monthly volume you consider?
2. Do you follow any specific site structure like the "Silo structure" when building the website?
3. Have you done any inter-linking of pages?

- Thanks!

NICE! what are the numbers on first column for? so in 20 days you got your KW to this level, very impressive. Were the KWs none competitive or what was the major reason of this result?

Wow that’s cool !

I have a question, maybe you mentioned it above but I didn’t get a clear picture of it.

How many pillar articles did you publish and link it to your money page (article containing affiliate links) ?

So... you are here just to leech?

The man shared something that is not some secret loophole or something that hasn't been discussed here. He just confirmed it can work.

No. I’m often helping and replying on threads. If you are active you can notice it.

I’m just saying that if you found something special by yourself which works, why risking making yourself competition with sharing it as long as it works for you.

In general, that’s the main reason why some methods stops working, after they get saturated.

EDIT: But yeah. His method is not a secret. But still if you praise it often people might massively use it. XD

The numbers that you are showing are a good achievement. No backlinks?

Hi @zionbar thanks for the post. Can you clarify on the Kw difficulty range you used and the range you will be using for going to lower difficulty.
Thanks.

Interesting. Are you running ads? I think it makes sense to think that if your site is approved by Adsense, they would have incentives to give your site more exposure vs being some random site without ads with affiliate links only. The problem is, getting Adsense approved these days is a bitch.
