Case study: Parasites PWN 2016

I'm curious to see, haven't tried just blasting WP or blogger blogs in a long time but I had negative results (even using purely for SEO and no traffic I drip in links especially at the start) where more social smaller (just one short piece of unique content rather than multiple pages and a new subdomain) pieces of content, like you mentioned FB and YT see good results and quick.

I was about to leave my 2 cents, I scrolled down then and seen wowhaxor got there already. Even back when I wrote that original thread, well over a year ago now.. those properties you're testing on were no good for this. The best properties I found were forums, forums on sites with heaps of authority. A lot of these forums would be laying dormant too, not used much, hard to find even from the main page.. ripe for the picking.

Hunting down and finding the perfect properties became 90% of the battle for me. Forums always came up tops.

Edit: An example of a site like this I used a lot back then..

http://www.boston.com - It's hard to find their forum from the main site. This is a PR 7, DA/PA 92 site.

Their forum has likely been raped to shit now, it was bad when I stopped using it. It worked EXTREMELY well for a long time. Competitors started reporting each other on the forum in the end, Mods would delete posts.. I had some properties ranking with content no longer in them. This is a good example for you though of the type of property I'm talking about.

Is wordpress really a parasite host? You don't leech any domain authority or even internal links so you get none of the benefits of being a parasite.

The rule of thumb I always used was that the whole point was to put up a URL you could spam 100,000 links at overnight and it would be top 3 when you woke up. The domain authority cancelled out any chance of sandboxing or penalties. Like LONG after xrumer, scrapebox or anything like that you could still dominate strictly with links from the 100th page of Chinese guestbooks where there were already 3,000 outbound links to pharmacy shit. You could also cross link the shit out of your shit 100 times on each page and it would only help you.

I see some people still killing it with shit like reddit.com/r/your-keyword and they just fill it with their links.

http://tweetvite.com events have their own page on tweetvite.com. People are using that.
site:nl.forums.wordpress.org/tags People are leeching the domain authority, plus using the tag pages to get internal links
http://www.slideshare.net/ Kinda lame you only get the one link
http://imgur.com/ You can put a whole page worth of content with links in the description, uploading a nice header as the image
http://groupspaces.com/ Free wiki hosting, ******** links
http://sehacloud.com/index.php/forum/ Somehow you can do XSS on this one and make redirects in forum posts. I used to do that with viddler and craigslist

All the pharmacy guys are just straight up hacking sites, putting 10,000 pages in secret subfolders, hiding sitewide links on the legitimate pages. I won't touch it.

Youtube parasite done.
Created a 1 minute video with pictures and music. Also boosting it by adding 3000 views.
I've put a long article in the description of the video with some links to the products that I'm trying to promote.
700+ word article.
I hope the video stays long enough.

Sorry for the long wait. I've been building links everyday, but not a single budge.

Total: 9 product clicks to amazon and that's it 0 conversions.
I dont think the parasite will be ranking anymore. Youtube & Wordpress.
I'll try to get a Press release as a parasite and rank it.

why not use blogger?

i recommend using a PR and finding one or two of the 'better' sites, and using those specific sites as parasites, leave a comment on the PR (only good DR), and link it to one of your other parasites (tumblr would be great here)

as you know, be sure that the PR only has an anchorless link by the way
