[Case Study] Is BuySellAds still worth it? 2020

Hey Billy, what tracker do you recommend?

Thanks
Depends on what you're doing. If you don't have much money you can start with the free version of https://bemob.com/, if you got some money then it comes down to do you want to host the tracker on your own server if so go with something like https://binom.org/, or if you don't want to bother with all that go with a cloud solution like https://binom.org/ All the latter one is quite pricey to start with. If you want a simple dashboard and solution you could try out https://www.clickmagick.com/, they still don't have PP though.

Hi Billy,

Why not use G analytics or Yandex over Bemob, Binom and Voluum ?

I can't notice any functional difference except latter is optimized for affiliate marketing but I'm not sure if that's correct.

Gheghe What you think a CPA tracker does? (and dont google it)

Ok, hmm tracks stats CPA offer right, if so what are important metrics to measure ?
Yes, tracking multiple metric but also track if someone actually made a purchase or left an email or more to say, track a lead.

Important metrics all depend on the offer And if your offer doesn't have restrictions a lot of things are important. If I target 1 country I will have to keep an eye out on for example; which city converts better, which age range, sex, OS, mobile or desktop and these are just demographics, then you need to keep an eye on CPC vs EPC, splittest landers, see which one converts better and keep on tweaking etc. Too much to just write down in a couple minutes.

thanks for doing the work. I hope it works out for you.
Awaiting results.

Yeah, there are also some sites where their spots are constantly sold out so someone is making money. For me this is more data analyzing and playing around with bemob as I will do some advanced CPA soon. On a different forum I'm reading some follow alongs of some people who are still making money with it while they have less experience and budget than me.

Yeah, I noticed the same. Some people claim they make money but I never made anything sustainable. I found it so stressful so I gave up. It is like forex to me - only 5% of ppl make profit until next collapse. This is not the thing I want to do.

AFAIK they used to work with web design related websites. Maybe that's why they got popular (working in a specific niche).

I had the same thought. Web design, themes & other creatives ads were mostly popular on that platform.

Tbh, thats not a good impression on the plateform and me myself I don't think it worths investing my money on it, there hundreds of other better options already.

An interesting read and first time I would come across something like this. I wish you the best on your journey

I used BSA back in 2014 it was ok for promoting my product I got a few sales but never enough. Today I just logged in my account again to check if they have websites in one specific niche and I was planning to run some ads again but after research I seen this thread and I probably won't start anything now. But we didn't answer the question, if BSA is bad for clicks, conversions why are they still alive? It seems some people are still using it, there are many sites with all banner spaces sold out.
