[Case Study] High PR Society - 8 different websites - 800 Posts

Word. I've noticed that for a lot of KWs there are these weird websites sitting on the second page that have a shitload of blog network links and nothing else. The PR juice they have coming in is probably 10 times more than the site sitting at number 1. Still, lack of link variety kills them :)

Totally agree with you, thats why I agreed with my client, who now starts to spent more money on me to rank his site, that I'll add other kind of links for variety, such as bookmarks / wiki links / (edu) blog comments (little bit) / profile links (little bit) / press releases / manual blogcomments at high PR sites with low OBL and anything else I can come up with.

Also I will not only make use of highPRsociety for his site but also ArticleRanks, Unique Article Wizard, Authority Link Network, My Article Network, so that's 5 private/public networks and a ton of web2.0's.

I haven't asked him yet but will ask him to use his site for my portfolio when I get him high up at page 1. I now only have my dutch site to show to prospects but that's not so great for English speaking potential clients.

How much do you charge fore one site whit low competiton? you can pm me!

Brilliant case study, going to be staying on the lookout for when high PR society returns definitely seems like a beneficial service

I only put updates in rankings once a week, it makes not much sense to update every few days.

This is a case study thread, not a for sales thread :) PM send nevertheless ;)

Little update, somehow RankTracker can't track Yahoo today, I don't know why, so I just left the value's from last tracking from Yahoo. Google and Bing are updated though.

Keyword 1: Google: n/a - Yahoo: n/a - Bing: n/a
Keyword 2: Google: 31 - Yahoo: 32 - Bing: 61
Keyword 3: Google: 48 - Yahoo: 43 - Bing: 47
Keyword 4: Google: n/a - Yahoo: n/a - Bing: n/a
Keyword 5: Google: 13 - Yahoo: n/a - Bing: n/a
Keyword 6: Google: 61 - Yahoo: 73 - Bing: 73
Keyword 7: Google: n/a - Yahoo: 61 - Bing: 64
Keyword 8: Google: n/a - Yahoo: n/a - Bing: n/a

It confuses me a bit that there is no movement at all for keyword 1, 4 and 8 so far. It's not that they are more competitive, instead they are even easier imo.

Interesting...If you do manage to reach #1 with so little backlinking i will be impressed, unless the competition is incredibly easy of course.

Update:

keyword 3 has moved to #4 and keyword 5 has moved to #12
keyword 1, 4 and 8 are still unmoved :(

Keyword 1: Google: n/a - Yahoo: n/a - Bing: n/a
Keyword 2: Google: 30 - Yahoo: 71 - Bing: 62
Keyword 3: Google: 4 - Yahoo: 41 - Bing: 41
Keyword 4: Google: n/a - Yahoo: n/a - Bing: n/a
Keyword 5: Google: 12 - Yahoo: n/a - Bing: n/a
Keyword 6: Google: 64 - Yahoo: 81 - Bing: 81
Keyword 7: Google: n/a - Yahoo: 66 - Bing: 67
Keyword 8: Google: n/a - Yahoo: n/a - Bing: n/a

UPDATE, not much change but keyword 8 that wasn't ranking anywhere finally shows up in Yahoo and Bing.

Keyword 1: Google: n/a - Yahoo: n/a - Bing: n/a
Keyword 2: Google: 23 - Yahoo: 69 - Bing: 57
Keyword 3: Google: 5 - Yahoo: 44 - Bing: 45
Keyword 4: Google: n/a - Yahoo: n/a - Bing: n/a
Keyword 5: Google: 13 - Yahoo: n/a - Bing: n/a
Keyword 6: Google: 68 - Yahoo: 81 - Bing: 80
Keyword 7: Google: n/a - Yahoo: 63 - Bing: 63
Keyword 8: Google: n/a - Yahoo: 49 - Bing: 49
