I have ready many posts about Google Sand Box on different platforms but i haven't experience this!
But few days back I have faced something like that! My site stuck at 29 page and still stuck there so I have decided to test this! I did some research and then draw a rough sketch!

Let's start:
I planned to test this on three domains.
Steps:
1. Finalize 3 templates including content on Local Machine for same keywords with Partially High Competition!
2. Did detailed KW Research and choose domains name! (Including my main keyword with variations)
3. Order hosting (different IPs )

Rough View:

Each domain having 10 Articles of 450+ words
I have used same theme to keep page site and loading time same!

The main step I took:

I put sites in index on different dates ( Means put a difference in date of registration and the date site goes live)

1. I submit 1 domain to index very after i buy the domain!
2. Submit 2nd domain to index after 7 days
3. Submit 3rd domain to index after 15 days!

I found a tool very helping with this!
Code:
http://pixelgroove.com/serp/sandbox_checker/

I check every site with this tool very after submitting my site to index.

1st domain domain1.com looks ok
2nd domain domian2.com is possibly penalized or sandboxed by google!
3rd domain domain3.com is possibly penalized or sandboxed by google!

I did nothing to 1st domain leave it as it is!
Start building links to 2nd and 3rd with Senuke and GSA SER
Use same link list and same keywords for both domains

So what i got after this?

After 18 days 2nd sites recovers from sand box! domain2.com looks ok
After 18 days 3rd site remain same domain3.com is possibly penalized or sandboxed by google!

I build 30000+ links on both domains individual......

According to my understanding I have found that when there's a difference in the date of domain purchase and the date of site first crawl is the main problem!

I am saying this because I have never put a delay while starting a new site!
Recommendations:
put your site live on the same day when you buy domain!

I'm gonna do a test on this. Seems like a pretty credible conclusion, even though the number of sites involved is low.

i actually buy domains and add content to it 15-20 days later i.e they get indexed after 3 weeks from registration . And i have results that contradict that.

Yeah! I know that the number is low but this is enough to motivate SEO's even me too! This was for same niche.
Hope I will do this again with bunch of sites lying in different niches...

That's possible! Because no one knows the realty that how google treats new sites!
