So you invest couple hours every day, grow your Linkedin network, times by times create some genuine posts or maybe a question, but it gets only 1 Like and 100-200 views?

.. you just shake your head and say: Linkedin is dead!

But, is it?

You come up with an idea: I must post unique photos!! You go to this event of mega-important people from your niche, add a hashtag, but still, nothing really changes:

Don't Give UP!

No, Linkedin isn't dead! :)

Here is the proof that Likes and Comments do influence your reach significantly:

Another event, less important hashtag >> hey! 5 Likes (still not hundreds) and the reach has multiplied 3x:

Ok, that's cool, BUT - what is an impact of a Comment? Bang!!:

This is a living proof: You need Likes and Comments if you respect your time spent at Linkedin.

For this reason, I have created a closed Linkedin engagement group (also called engagement pods) for bhw members:

Code:
linkedin.com/groups/12334095

@mods - hopefully it is fine to share the group link.

At the moment we are around 20 cool members and getting ready to explore possibilities of Linkedin and help each other.

Yes, I haven't got yet posts that reach 100k-500k people. But with a network of 4k quality Linkedin members, my comment will help you out 100%... if the content is decent, of course :)

If you want to connect, please add a note that you are from BHW:
Code:
linkedin.com/in/helmutsmeskonis/

Wish you all Best of Success and Maximum Reach for your Quality Posts!!

Probably I should add a quick tip, where you can check the history of your posts:

and then click on "Posts":

It is all about being effective and not wasting the most valuable resource we have - Time.

Be well!

You would be surprised how many people give up and stop posting just because they dont get the engagement

This is also common with video posting I mean it should go on for a year and then they can decide

Thanks for the case study as these will help a lot of people but it is true. You need to engage with your connection in linkedin in order to be updated and get interacted for long.
I have some seen some heavy user engagement posts as well. The game has changed and you need to keep interaction going.

Thanks,

Fascinating. Thank you very much!

My takeaway for this:

a) grow high quality connections in which your connections are likely to like and comment when seeing your posts which will ultimately boost exposure
b) post very high quality and niche-related posts (or at least posts that your "ideal target audience" will see as "high quality") (well, I guess this goes for every social media platform. But a) is very interesting! Thanks.

Do you by any chance know the best route to get about going HYPERNICHE on LinkedIn?

Option a) main account with multiple "niche pages"
Option b) having multiple accounts focused on 1 niche each

Thoughts?
