Case Study drop -50 or -100 in SERPS in 24 hours!

I defuqed my url structure yesterday. Removed my main keyword from sub urls and did a 301 and then a indexing request. I see some jumps but don´t know if it is related to the defuq since the site is 2 weeks old.

in the past I just Copypaste youtube video titles to new wordpress blog posts .
that ended in stuffing title and url..
however
defucking urls did not have strong effect.
however, defucking TITLE did. guess why?
cause fucking WP uses:
title = h1 = url = pagination = inner page / sidebar and so on... proper "on page fuckup" by default..
broscience gurublogger would call that "good on page".

defucking title = defucking a lot.


on average, on page defuck takes 48 h. but i keep it around 5 days, till I have 100% certainty.

still have to do a shitton of work.
cleaned approx 80% of frontpages and maybe just 5% of top most clicked inner pages on all properties :(

defucked it. went straight to #2 a day after.
settled at #6/7 5 days later.

popped some STRONG web20 link on it.

I took a looong break from online marketing and used old SEO tactics from 2010. So I did www. keyword .com and then product page www. keyword. com/productname-keyword. I think google does not like that anymore. Will report back after a couple of days.
 
that is not the real issue. just consider keyword.com in your domain as additional keyword bringing density up.

if you count, count everything visible including URL, except meta description & tags.

and, if you do a defuq, "clean" your offpage anchors as much as you can and wait 4 weeks..

you cant really do proper on page optimization if you have off page anchors messed up......

and for the spoon fed lazy people: there is no 100% right and wrong. you have to test.

"gladly", all my old projects, had like nearly NO innerpage links (so much for good seo ;) doing NOTHING sometimes is better!)
gladly, all my old projects had strong generic links to main page...
that helps me to focus on on page problems easier .
 
For the old site I cleaned yesterday, I will report next week if there were movements. If not, my next move will be to switch from wordpress to html. Since it is a static site with only 2 pages, I think that will be easy to do. That site will be my testing playground :)
 
Easier way:
Make a screenshot of old site. Only upload image with cryptic file name no alt tags. Only set :
Title. 1 heading. Description.
See what happens after 5 days.

[1] 10% EM anchors!? isn't that a bit extreme, specially after penguin 4 update?

[2] assume that you anchor word is: "Red Book". Now when you say 10% EM, do you consider all of the following to belong to that exact match category or the links that ONLY have these 2 words: "Red Book"
  • Awesome red book
  • red fiction book
  • red book from library
[3] when you say 10% EM, assuming that you are talking about 10% of referring domains should carry your EM, not 10% of total backlinks. In other words, if a single domian has 3 EM backlinks, thost still count as 1 when you are calculating your 10% target. correct?

all those are different kws:

  • Awesome red book
  • red fiction book
  • red book from library
best red book
great red book
boring red book

10% is not = ranking #1. its just keep it lower than 10%-

thanks again for the response. can you please elaborate a bit more on above statements?

also, what are your thoughts on wanting to change a backlink from your own private PBN? should you change the existing back link or write a new post to reflect your desired anchor? I do understand that google picks the first back link on the page for the same URL, so if I want to introduce a new back link, then it should be before the existing one.

My kw density for 2 kw is about 3,4%
My competitor density is 0.77%

I change mine to 2%
And add my site to index again in webmaster tool

Let's see what happen
 
EMD still works. But not as powerful as it used to be. The only thing is EMD has higher risk to be penalize if we do overoptimization. I am able to hit #1 spot for 110k volume keyword using EMD .xyz domain. And my latest project also using EMD .online domain and currently sit at #8. You just need proper strategy to rank nowadays. :)

Wow, thats really nice, what is your Avg Kw density and what back linking method do you use? PBNS>

At main article, its around 3%. I am using diversify backlinking method. This include bookmarking, social signal, high pr profile, tiered link building, and of course PBN.

Now the page is number 4, sometimes number 3, I will change it to around 0.77% like my competitor

And I had change another kw to lower density move up from 11 to 10

agree. EMD still work. and SEO is not dead.
though, as stated, EMD have issues of overopti, and you will NEVER be recognized as a brand.
that is why I am moving away from them if I can.
sadly, 2 great domais are brand and emd :/
well, I got to balance that very well
