[Case Study] Does Anchor text

We all know that anchor text in a backlink affects SEO, and we know that a backlink from a relevant site is better than a higher PR backlink from a non-related site.

I want to test to see if the anchor text in a 2nd or 3rd layer in a link wheel will affect the relevance of the site in the layer below.

Non-relevant mean's it's not relevant to your money site/targeted site

Non-relevant Blog comment with relevant anchor text -----> Relevant Web2.0 ------> MoneySite

Has anyone though of this before, or tried it? I'm thinking of testing this, but would need 3 other people to test it along with me, for a control and reliability.

Just make everything different so it looks natural, don't use the same anchor thousands of times even if the site is relevant.

I wasn't suggesting using the same anchor thousands of times.

for example, money site is related to fashion
anchors could be; shoes, puma shoes, boots, scarfs, fashion contest
Etc.
