[Case Study] Combining Methods to Create a Test Project Campaign [Subscribe]

I want to begin with the initial investment amount, as I want to be as transparent as I can be (with certain limitations, of course).:
Domain: $0.99/1yr (Cheap $0.99 .COM TLD from a GoDaddy Coupon (Here's one to get a domain for $0.99: CJCRMN99U (found at RetailMeNot))).
Hosting: $7.50/mo (You can find a solid webhost for less, but often times, Shared Hosting = Slower. This one isn't "as Shared".).
CMS: Wordpress

Plugins: $0.00
Theme Setup: $5.50 (Fiverr now adds a tax...........).
So in total, I've spent: $13.99

DISCLAIMER: I am also paying for Mass Planner, which I have not included in the price, since I've been using it for quite some time now, with other projects I've got going on. I will be using that for this new adventure. However, even up until now, I've not began to automate anything with Mass Planner. Everything I do with that software, I do manually. I mostly like it because it helps me keep track of IP Addresses / Accounts, without thinking about it.

You may be wondering why there's a price for the setup of my theme. Simply put, I found someone on Fiverr, that sets up themes for people to make the themes appear as they do in the demo. This is important to me, because 1., it's a major time-saver, for me, because setting all the configurations to get the theme to resemble what attracted you to said theme, is sometimes a pain and a half. And 2., because I was busy working on other things.

Now, in all fairness, I am using some NULLED plugins, and not at all concerned with duplicate content. I am using some commercial plugins, but mine don't "call home", so to speak. There are two reasons for why I'm doing this, as well:

1. I wanted to spend as little money on this as possible.
2. I want to be able to help someone else that may not be going into this with a large budget.

So for my plugins, I won't say exactly which ones I'm using, but I don't mind saying what it is that they do.

Plugin #1: Autoblogging plugin (That's right! Autoblog! And I'm not spinning, either!).
Plugin #2: Favicon plugin (This makes the website appear more legit.).
Plugin #3: Featured Image plugin (I want to quickly and easily be able to grab my own featured images to use for my posts (Yes, I'm doing this part, manually.)).
Plugin #4: Contact Form plugin (I created an email account to use with this website. Soon, I will begin to capture email addresses from this website.).
Plugin #5: Link Cloaking plugin (I don't want my affiliate links to look like affiliate links.).
Plugin #6: Online Backup plugin (If SHTF, I want a backup, so I can restore it without rebuilding the wheel.).
Plugin #7: Login Attempts plugin (So I don't get bruteforced.).
Plugin #8: An Exit plugin (This allows me to catch people on the way out of my virtual door.).

Before we go any further, I would like to admit that I'm not on Day #1.
I'm on Day #4.
That being said, I've not yet started to promote this website. I'm still not quite ready for that part. Not yet. I've still got much to do.

Okay, so here's what I'm working on...

As you may have discovered, I'm simply building a semi-autoblog. I don't care about search engine rankings, so none of my efforts will go towards SEO, of any sort.
This website shall be my primary focal point, for quite some time, as after several hundreds of hours of learning and applying several different things, I've decided to compile much of that knowledge towards accomplishing something that many might say is impossible. This is fun for me.

I have 50 posts, and nearly every post has been monetized. All of the posts are related (share the same niche), however, they're broken down into a few different micro-niches; one micro-niche per category. Each category consists of posts that "inadvertently" focus on marketing a specific product that aligns with said category.

I'm marketing products from CB, a CPA, and a MLM that I'm a part of.

Tonight, I will finish up with monetizing every post I have on the website, which means, I need to find one more appealing offer to promote. I will be testing a ton of theories, throughout this process, so if you ladies and gentlemen stick with me, we all may learn a thing or two!

Anyway, I've got some more work to tend to, as mentioned above, so until next time...

Yes, Autoblogging still works, contrary to popular belief. I'm actually a little dumbfounded, right now. I submitted nothing to Google, and nor have I done anything [intentionally] to draw any attention to Google, and yet, as I was working in my back office, I noticed that virtually every one of my cloaked links had multiple clicks on them, already. I don't have Analytics or anything else on my site. So, I ran a site:myurl.TLD search, and have nearly 100 indexed pages. Oh well.

Yes, I will provide my update for the evening. I really just wanted to vent about that Google thing. I'm not quite sure how I feel about it, considering what I mentioned in the initial post of this thread. My real update will come in a little bit. I'm busy working on a few things, in relation to this project.

Okay, so this is weird, right? I've told nobody about this semi-autoblog that I've just thrown up. I literally just created these cloaked links, and already 115 clicks!? Now, I haven't checked to see if any money was generated from any of those efforts (I'll have checked by the time I finish this BHW post), but just the fact that it's happened. As I mentioned yesterday, I'm not even ready to begin promoting this website yet. I have no sitemap. I have no backlinks. I have no Analytics. I've not submitted anythnig via the Google Webmaster Tools. Basically, all the things we're told to do when creating websites, I've done the complete opposite. And yet, I've got nearly 100 indexed pages. Weird.

So anyway, last night, I finished up with most of my monetization of the posts. I'm going to build my fB Fan Page, tomorrow, as I've got nothing going on, Saturday, so this will be my focus for the entirety of that day. I've got a few Private IP Addresses that I will dedicate to this project. To begin, I'll only use 2 of them. 1 will be for a singular fB profile that will be designated to post in fB Groups, and the other IP will manage the Fan Page. I don't want to use 1 IP for both tasks, in case I happen to end up with a banned fB Account, I'll just ditch that IP, and continue working as if nothing happened. That being said, while I did mention that I'll be focusing on posting with only 1 account (for now), that doesn't mean I won't be warming up other accounts, as well.

I'm using a brand new fB account, with only a few actions on it. Over the course of the last few days, I've been posting, liking, sharing, and joining groups. Because this is a new fB account, I've been joining groups, slowly! I literally have only been requesting to join 3 - 5 groups, per day, over the last 3 days. I've been accepted into 4 of them, as of last night. Each group has more than 1,000 members, but less than 10,000 members. Though all my content on the website is swiped, it still is quality content! I did end up with a few articles that look like $5 BHW Marketplace articles (You know, like the ones with the sellers saying things like, "I sell quality contents"), but overall, I've got quality content on my website.

Last night, as I was working, I remembered something I'd indirectly purchased (it was an upsell (which I rarely agree to buying into, but for this one, I did) that will allow me to grow my fB Fan Page, somewhat on autopilot, as I dig into that arena, tomorrow evening), towards the beginning of last year. Not sure how the idea came to me, but I remembered I'd purchased it. Funny thing is, I've never even tried it. I'm sure some of you all have purchased and/or downloaded IM shit that you never even opened. Don't judge me. I'd love to give more information about it, but in all honesty, I only barely remember a little bit of what it does, and I'd mostly just be guessing. I'll play around with it, tomorrow, and if I decide to use it and/or feel it's a worthy investment, I'll review it, and let you guys decide.

So anyway, here are the things I still need to do (off the top of my head), prior to promoting this website:

1. Build my fB Fan Page.
2. I need to locate a solid fB plugin that virtually forces people to like my page (once I create one).
3. Figure out how to remove the guy's Fiverr Gig link he put on my site (this shit pisses me off).
4. Create a Twitter Account for this website.
5. Set all my posts to automatically send to both fB and Twitter.
6. Locate people I can work with on Fiverr, that will help to drive traffic (more to come on this, later).
7. Purchase a few of the products I don't have, within my MLM.
8. Setup aWeber, for this project.

Once I've got the above things worked out, I'll begin to drive traffic, and will then record my findings. Meanwhile, as the traffic campaigns begin, I'll start warming up 3 more fB Accounts, just in case I need them, sooner than anticipated, though I don't anticipate that I will -- but, you never know. In addition, I will begin to post with these accounts, as well.

So anyway, I've checked on the results of those clicks. No income has been generated. This doesn't really bother me, as I've not really done anything to actually generate any income. Oh well.

For the rest of tonight, I'm going to do some more warming up of my 1st fB account, and request to join a few more groups. I will also write out some lead-in posts that I'll be using to drive traffic from fB. The reason for this, is because when I begin promoting my website, I do not want to seem like some spammer. My posts will be informative enough to pass for legitimate information aimed at helping people.

That about wraps up my entry for tonight. I've got work to do.
