That's a tough question to answer. Everyone I have used thus far has delivered good quality content that exceeds my expectations per dollar, well within the given turnaround timeframe. PassionateWriting and Aluminium's articles have needed the least edits to fit my writing style, but that's all relative. Faith delivered the fastest and had the best custom interface for communication and updates. But everyone has done well.

I cheated (kind of) and ordered content from Natasha Nixon on Fiverr. To be fair, I went through the BHW thread, so it?s still a BHW service. So boom. Having ordered from her (her?) before, and the articles received were EXTREMELY high quality for a very low price. And for what I?m calling an even $80 I?m getting 16 400-word articles. Good for content injections, especially when applying to AdSense (I got banned in like 2008, wish me luck on that one).

I used a SERP checker to see if I was ranking anywhere in the first ten pages for anything on my domain yet for the keyword I?m trying to rank for. Lo and behold, one of the articles was sitting at spot 88. Let?s see if I can boost it from there. Maybe get the home page ranking.

PassionateWriting sent me the last two articles. Both were product reviews. I formatted those, set standard images, did some SEO, and popped them up as-is on the site. At this point, I was bummed as I realized that I had used up all my fancy, cropped, edited, optimized stock photos. Such is life.

I added the additional two products to the dropdown header bar menu for the Reviews button and saved. At this point, I realized that I was an idiot for trying to fancy up the product reviews widget on the home page, and I could have just created a custom menu with the product reviews and set that as a sidebar widget. Stupid. Created it and checked out the home page. One of the product names was too long and dropped down to a second line. I fixed this and refreshed. Perfection. Fast and simple, no animations, no crap.

So: Seven articles, six product reviews, and around four or so additional pages needing work and edits and images and all sorts of fun stuff. Let?s get started.

I began with the first article, and told myself after that I would get other things completed (not related to this project). I added in-text links to two additional product reviews in a section where they pertained. I also added in-text links to two other posts that related to the subject matter in that particular area. I finished by adding "And feel free to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest for more news and updates! Thanks for reading.? to the bottom of the post, with links on the social network words to the respective accounts. These together added another 97 words to the article, bringing the total to 1,329.

The SEO analyzer via Yoast gave me all green-lights except for: "You've used this focus keyword 2 times before, it's probably a good idea to read this post on cornerstone content and improve your keyword strategy.? and "You're linking to another page with the focus keyword you want this page to rank for. Consider changing that if you truly want this page to rank.?. I?m cool with that where it is.

PLANS

I will do the same that I did for the first article to the second and third. Maybe work on the About page.

Worst case I have Amazon in-text links, an account with ExoClick, and a high quality site with awesome content to shop around to other networks. I'm not scared.

What are your thoughts on using MNS services on here then adding content and working on SEO for passive earners?

Are you gonna publish Pillar articles? If yes, are they information articles only?

Do you include the same keyword in more than 1 article?

Do you focus on "productkeyword review" keywords?

gary2 (PBN): Gary set me up with three PR3-4, DA 21 PBN links with surrounding content and images. Very high quality, and good TAT, especially for a free review copy. Links were perfect, even though the content was iffy, but it was relevant to the topic and the quality was extremely high. 8.5/10, would recommend.

The second and third articles were my target today.

I started with the second article, adding a full paragraph about two of the product reviews in a section where adding that would be applicable. I also added links to the products, and an in-text link to an additional post relating to the subject matter being discussed. I finished by adding "And feel free to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest for more news and updates! Thanks for reading.? to the bottom of the post, with links on the social network words to the respective accounts. These together added another 110 words to the article, bringing the total to 1,289.

The third article was the pros and cons list. As with the above: adding a full paragraph about two of the product reviews in a section where adding that would be applicable. I also added links to the products, and an in-text link to an additional post relating to the subject matter being discussed. I finished by adding "And feel free to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest for more news and updates! Thanks for reading.? to the bottom of the post, with links on the social network words to the respective accounts. These together added another 150 words to the article, bringing the total to 1,380.

At this point three of the articles were 100% complete in my eyes (for now). I created the About page at this point. 331 words covering why I made the site, all seven current articles with links, all product reviews with links, and a quick blurb about the social media pages. That was it for today.

PLANS

I will do the same that I did for the first three articles to the fourth, and make a run-through edit and tune-up on the fifth article tomorrow. Friday will be the sixth and seventh article, and after taking the weekend off I will hit the review pages hard. By the time I?m halfway through the review pages, I should have received the content from NatashaNixon.

HANDS-ON

A quick overall update. One of my articles was bouncing around on page nine or ten, back and forth on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Then the main page joined the SERP?s in the spot the article was in and began a Google Dance. I have the Facebook page whose seven-day ad campaign ended up with 363 current fans. I?ll take it, since my hope was far lower. And I have 94 Twitter followers resulting from simply following relevant accounts and accruing follows back. I haven?t posted anything on either of these in a week, so I figured once I had the fourth and fifth article done, I?d post them up.

The fourth and fifth articles were my target for overhaul and linking in this time chunk. Then the sixth, and finally the seventh.

The fourth article was 751 words when I started editing. Keep in mind that this was the last article that I had spent time hand-editing, so the process went a bit faster for the editing process. There were already two links to product reviews on the blog post. I added two more in a section that was 100% relevant to those items. I added two in-text links to posts relating to the discussed subject matter, and the typical social network thanks for reading line at the bottom. Altogether, when I was done, the word count was 853, so an addition of a little over 100 words.

As I hadn?t updated my social media profiles in a while, I took the post I had just edited and added it to the Twitter and Facebook accounts, including the featured image from the post as an image in both snippets. Curious to see if it brings a boost to my traffic or not.

The fifth post was a whopper at 1,073 words without any editing save a paragraph where I had added two in-text links to review pages. I had an extremely busy week this Thursday and Friday. I built it up to over 1,400 words, and then didn?t like how the article finalized, so I cut three full paragraphs, bringing the grand total to? 1,068 words. Four product in-text links, two article in-text links, and three social links. Boom. Five articles at 100% completion.

On to article six! 679 words to start, including my ~80 word addition at the end of the article. This addition at the end put two in-text product review links in the article. I wanted a couple more, and also another in-text article links and the social links. Consistency and all that jazz. When I was complete, the total word count for the sixth article was 939 words. Killed it!

And finally the seventh and last current article. It started at 678 words, which also included my addition at the end of the article initially. When I was done, after including the other four product reviews in addition to the current two (no articles, I figured six links were enough) and links to the Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest, I was sitting at 975 words.

So at this point I had all seven articles to the point at which I was currently satisfied with their layout and setup.

PLANS

My next steps were going to be to overhaul the six product reviews with images, excerpts from the Amazon product links, expanded text, and more. I should receive the content from NatashaNixon in the next couple of days, at which point I will post the base model of them to the site, after finding some more photos to add as featured images (I?m out!)

HANDS-ON

Time to do a bunch of miscellaneous tasks.

I followed around 180 new Twitter accounts that were related to my niche in the hopes to get some related follow backs. It had been working okay, with about a 15% follow back rate. Then I added the seventh post that I finished editing yesterday to the Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Remember the great micro niche site I got created last week or so ago? I went into that for some routine maintenance. I updated WP Smush because it needed one. The site came with two posts and a few other pages. I wanted to make sure that this micro niche site was up to par before adding links to my money site. So I went ahead and decided to overhaul the first of the two articles. The content, while related, was barely readable. The first article started at 510 words. When I was done with it, it was properly headed, worded in perfect English, and sitting at a nice, shiny 735 words. I had also completely maxed out the Yoast SEO metrics, and included a link to my money site, and a link to a specific article on my money site. Nothing like backlinks I have control over!

I checked back in with the Twitter account at about 1:30pm my time and had gained another nine followers. I?d rather have 110 targeted followers than 25,000 fake ones!

I proceeded to find four images on white backgrounds for each of the six currently-reviewed products and renamed the files to match the product being reviewed. I resized all the images to 250 pixels wide and changed any PNG or GIF images to JPG. Then I popped them into the JPEG compressor and out came 24 beautiful, extremely small file-sized images. Then I uploaded all of the images to the Wordpress Media Library for the money site and called it a day. Tomorrow I will rework the first product review, and will do one daily until next week.
