The review included a 1000+ searches per month keyword that just so happened to be in my overarching general niche, as well as suggested domain (which I am to buy and set up Wordpress on), full logo and site design, 1,000 words of content, a privacy policy, and copyright protection. I?m all about it. More in the hands-on section.

I wanted to get the review work done for keywordspot as soon as possible, so I popped into LiquidWeb and bought one of the suggested .com domains for $15 (per year). I set the A record, and since I?m in the office and for some reason cannot access my hosting cPanel, I popped into LiquidWeb?s live chat support and had a representative take care of it. It literally took them five minutes. I sent the login info to keywordspot and that was that.
Aluminium?s article was in a very similar writing style to my own. I left it as-is, except for adding an end paragraph with links to the product reviews. This added about 100 words to the article. The same was the case with the two product review articles I received from PassionateWriting.
I logged into the Twitter account and followed 284 completely relevant accounts to my niche using this javascript trick (the first answer reply, not the threat itself). Then I added a tweet and image and link to the pros and cons blog post. I then added that same article to the zero-likes Facebook fan page. Then I submitted a Boost promotion just for shits and giggles for the Facebook page. Set it for seven days at $10 per day budgeting, just to see where it gets me. My fingers are crossed for 100 likes by this time next week.
I also spent a few minutes creating a barebones Pinterest account before my first meeting of the day.

Tomorrow I?m going to edit the final article that needs edits, and add one of the new articles from PassionateWriting. I?ll take care of getting the Pinterest fully set up, and perform some other small tasks that need to be done.

Two words. Customer service. It's wonderful registering a domain, setting the A record, and having them take care of getting Wordpress set up. I never have to fuck with my cPanel. The support is extraordinary. Live chat connects with a real person almost instantly every time. Email support is off the hook.
Plus my hosting account is there. Semi-pro for $40 a month. I'll gladly pay $15 a year for a domain to have everything all in one place and only be billed from one service on a monthly basis.

keywordspot (Micro Niche Site): The site has already been delivered. The site design is of good quality, using a premium Wordpress theme. It appears that several plugins were also installed and configured. He delivered the keyword analysis, I bought the domain of my preference and installed Wordpress, then sent the details, and he did the rest. The site itself is not bad, the content is readable, but I'll be tweaking it because I'm like that. 6/10 content quality, 7/10 design quality, 10/10 speed, 10/10 cost. I'd say 8.5/10 total. In line with the micro niche sites from Fiverose, but with a better domain selection.

I wanted to do some quick cleanup to the micro niche site from keywordspot. I removed the Akismet and Hello Dolly plugins, installed WP Smush, and smushed the current images on the site (saved about 10%, whatever). I'll continue work on the micro niche site and add a link or two to my money site over the weekend and throughout next week.
I used that Javascript trick to follow another 120 accounts on the Twitter I set up for the site. Out of 284 followings yesterday 16 have followed back. I'll take it. The Facebook account has obtained 19 likes currently. I'm hoping for 100 by the end of the seven-day ad campaign.
The I went ahead and edited that last article that needed editing. It started at around 550 words, and when I was done was sitting at a little over 750 words. Good stuff. PassionateWriting's article was close to 600 words. I added another 70 adding in the final paragraph with the links to the review pages. I formatted the page, did some SEO, added a featured image, used the same image in context, set the alt tags, added the category and description, and posted.
It was at this point that I realized my home page recent post widget was capping the recent posts at five. I went in and changed it to ten and refreshed to see the changes. Then I changed the meta title to something that was a little more descriptive and called it a day site-wise.
I went into the Pinterest account and edited the account information, including verifying the website via a meta tag on the header.php file to give me a link on the profile page. Then I removed notifications and connected the Twitter account. I created a board with a description matching the home page meta description and grabbed the browser button. And then I pinned all six current articles and two review articles to the board I had created.

Tomorrow I will add that to the site, make some tweaks to the micro niche site, add a couple posts to the Facebook and Twitter accounts, check out getting a Gravatar image set up, and do some research on some SEO services from here I'm going to try and use. Then I went to the home page and removed the sidebar product review section (I wasn?t too fond of it in the first place), and made the recent posts section full-width. I?ll do more work on the home page, including a few paragraphs in various well-placed locations in between widgets.
I added another 200 relevant followers to the Twitter account. Then I did some SEO research on potential high quality services. I made the decision to hold off on ordering any additional SEO services until the review copy services are complete and have had the opportunity to propagate for a little bit. I don?t want to go too hard too fast and screw myself over.
Some time passed and I had an opportunity to put a little more time into the site. I had received the third article (second product review, fourth overall) from PassionateWriting. It was a review for a $75 product. I took his article, did a little SEO work on it for the product name, added a featured and in-text image, and posted.
The structure of the menus was currently as follows:
Top menu: Left side is the date, right side is Product1 and Product2
Main menu: Home, Blog, Reviews (with Product1 and Product2 in a dropdown), About, Contact
Footer menu: Copyright on left, Privacy Policy and Disclosure on right
I added Product3 and Product4 to the Reviews dropdown. I removed Product1 and Product2 from the top menu and replaced it with links to the Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest accounts. Then I added all four of the product reviews as a 1/3 size to the left side of the home page. I then went into Google webmaster tools and submitted the URLs for all main pages and review pages. Then i submitted a sitemap to Google through Webmaster Tools. I also crawled the home page and all main pages as Google and manually submitted for indexing.

I first checked Webmaster Tools. My sitemap processed with no issues. There were no crawl errors. Fetch as Google worked without any problems. My robots.txt wasn?t blocked anywhere. I also popped the non-www version of the website into Webmaster Tools on their suggestion. I?m new at this entire aspect of it. Learning as I go.
I went to the site and installed the tagdiv Social Counter plugin and added a Facebook and Twitter setup to it. At this point, I took a step back and looked at the home page. It was a mess. I overhauled the header with the following changes: Header style to top menu + logo and ad from default, Disabled sign in/join on the top bar, Added a favicon I found online, Set the alt and title text for the logo attributes.
The site tutorial for the Wordpress theme suggests WP Super Cache instead of W3 Total Cache. I deactivated and deleted W3 Total Cache and installed WP Super Cache, then followed the tutorial?s instructions to get it optimized to where they suggest.
I still couldn?t get over how crappy the home page was looking. I scrapped everything except the recent articles section, then made it full-width. I added Block 1 underneath Block 4 to see which one I preferred on the home page (it would look better all filled out vs when I first looked at it and it had two articles to play with). Block 1 won, so Block 4 went away, but Block 1 was 2/3 width, so the need for a sidebar was imminent again. At the current time, I?m leaving the home page as-is until I get some more content I can add to it.
An overview of what I currently have content-wise: Six articles between 700 and ~1300 words, four product reviews around 600 words. I think I am going to do a run-through on the four product reviews to edit them down to my exact specifications. I may move their location to somewhere I can have them filtered down to a box layout on the site versus a post grid type of layout. The animation is killing me and looks awful (the main reason why I keep trashing the sidebar review section).

I?ll add some links and some quoted reviews from Amazon, and definitely some images of the product itself (currently it?s just one of the nice stock images for the product, so completely unrelated). I may also look into writing some articles myself as well over the next few weeks, just to add content without breaking the bank in the first month of project work.

I decided I needed some better organization. This is a decision I make multiple times a day, if you can't tell by my obsessive nature and compulsive yet planned way of doing things, and my yearning for perfection, even though I know I will never achieve it. The first thing I did was pop into the Twitter and follow another 150+ accounts. At this point I was following close to 800, and had around 40 followers. So 5% follow back rate. Whatever.
PassionateWriting hooked me up with the fourth article of six. This one was a regular article, so I formatted it as such, tossed in some SEO work, put in an alt-tagged image, and posted to see how it looked. Performed a few more tweaks to get my Yoast into as close to 100% green as possible (I trust Yoast, sue me), and posted the final, unedited version. It ended up, after my paragraph containing review links, close to 700 words. I plan on doing a run-through edit to bring it over 1,000 words in the near future.
At this point I had seven published articles and four published product reviews, with a contact page and a main product review page that was currently just a roll-up of the first two product reviews. All seven articles had the same category and same single tag. Here is a rundown of the status of each one:

About: Blank, 0% complete. I'll write this myself. I'm hoping for 500-1000 words explaining why the site exists. A toughie, as I don't want to just say "I have no real interest in this niche, I just like money".
Contact: There's already close to 250 words here, contact details, a nice image, and a short About blurb. I see a few things that need to be changed here. I'd say it's sitting at about 60% complete.
Disclosure: Around 60 words, straight and to the point. One link to the home page, and that's it. 100% complete. Nothing else will be done on this page in this stage of the overhaul.
Reviews: 1,064 words. There's a nice intro and two product reviews on the main review page. Literally word for word the review pages for the first two products as well. That's a no-no. I'm going to remove the individual product reviews from the main review page, rewrite the intro content, and include links to each review as images underneath the intro. I should be getting two more articles or reviews from PassionateWriting shortly. I'll incorporate those in as well. Once that is done, back to work on the micro niche site I'm using as a solid link back for my repertoire, as well as social media. I also plan on checking each link in the top 100 for my search term and see if they offer comments, etc. Relevant backlinks are nice. I'm moving too slowly. I want this to start generating revenue by mid-March.

HANDS-ON
I decided I needed some better organization. This is a decision I make multiple times a day, if you can't tell by my obsessive nature and compulsive yet planned way of doing things, and my yearning for perfection, even though I know I will never achieve it. The first thing I did was pop into the Twitter and follow another 150+ accounts. At this point I was following close to 800, and had around 40 followers. So 5% follow back rate. Whatever.
PassionateWriting hooked me up with the fourth article of six. This one was a regular article, so I formatted it as such, tossed in some SEO work, put in an alt-tagged image, and posted to see how it looked. Performed a few more tweaks to get my Yoast into as close to 100% green as possible (I trust Yoast, sue me), and posted the final, unedited version. It ended up, after my paragraph containing review links, close to 700 words. I plan on doing a run-through edit to bring it over 1,000 words in the near future.
At this point I had seven published articles and four published product reviews, with a contact page and a main product review page that was currently just a roll-up of the first two product reviews. All seven articles had the same category and same single tag. Here is a rundown of the status of each one:
- Article 1: 1,232 words, edited, links to review page, 95% complete (need to add two links to other current reviewed products and maybe an additional article or two)
- Article 2: 1,179 words, edited, links to review page and another article, 98% complete (need to add two links to other current reviewed products)
- Article 3: 1,231 words, edited, links to review page, 95% complete (need to add two links to other current reviewed products and maybe an additional article or two)
- Article 4: 751 words, edited, links to review page, 95% complete (need to add two links to other current reviewed products and maybe an additional article or two)
- Article 5: 1,073 words, non-edited, links to review page, 75% complete (need to do an editing run-through, add links to other products and other articles. I'm confident a good edit can get this to 1,300+ words. I know I said I wasn't going to edit this one, but I decided I wanted my hand in every aspect of this project)
- Article 6: 679 words, non-edited, links to review page, 75% complete (need to do an editing run-through, add links to other products and other articles, etc. I bet I can get this above 1,000 words easily)

About: Blank, 0% complete. I'll write this myself. I'm hoping for 500-1000 words explaining why the site exists. A toughie, as I don't want to just say "I have no real interest in this niche, I just like money".
Contact: There's already close to 250 words here, contact details, a nice image, and a short About blurb. I see a few things that need to be changed here. I'd say it's sitting at about 60% complete.
Disclosure: Around 60 words, straight and to the point. One link to the home page, and that's it. 100% complete. Nothing else will be done on this page in this stage of the overhaul.
Reviews: 1,064 words. There's a nice intro and two product reviews on the main review page. Literally word for word the review pages for the first two products as well. That's a no-no. I'm going to remove the individual product reviews from the main review page, rewrite the intro content, and include links to each review as images underneath the intro.
