Case Study - Beating Panda With An Autoblog

I wouldn't really feel great about it until I was making 50 - 100 dollars a day off an autoblog. I do have a few autoblogs and haven't made any money yet. I've been at it for about a month. Don't worry as soon as I start making money I will let everyone know. Peace.

@jorfam what are you using to pull content from YouTube? That is the next step. I want to create an auto blog that pulls purely YouTube videos.

@beeHWfan did you read the thread? This isn't about creating money with Adsense or Amazon or any other affiliate program. This is purely lead generation. The blog will NOT create an income. It will only create LEADS and it is doing that so far.

I am also interested to know how to pull YT videos to start my autoblog. I have a keyword domain which is not getting so much results as I have a info domain. Maybe if I start using YT it will help me a lot

Stilling doing scrapebox blasts directly to main page. Twitter is sending traffic to both this blog and my money site. Conversions are still on track with 42% opt in rate.

I also started a second AB today that is only YT videos. I want to test which one does better. Articles, videos or articles and videos. I will keep everyone update and when I start getting stats on the video only AB I will post stats on that one as well.

Also as a STAT update:

I have been hitting a ceiling of 4 UV per day. Up until this week and now I am peaking at 7 UV per day.

Just noticed that some more pages were de-indexed. Curious if this means that the whole site will eventually be de-indexed or if it is because Google indexed everything and is now sorting through the garbage. Either way I am still getting traffic to my money site.

Just as an FYI - this is something that I anticipated. I am not freaking out, I am not losing money, I am not afraid.

But it does bring up a very good point that many people pointed out when I first started this AB and that is that translating articles, even if you do it three or four times, is not the way to go and I completely agree.

While I have proven to myself that ABs are completely worth it and I am not in the process of setting up an entire network of ABs I am going to be using TBS API in the future to ensure usable readable content is being displayed.

Now my second site that is just videos is strumming along nicely, I am waiting for the other show to drop because there is no content on the site besides videos, and the site has once again paid for itself ten fold in the amount of traffic that it is sending to my money site and the amount of optins.

I will keep updating this thread with traffic and stats as well as what I've learned from starting the network. Just wanted to give everyone an update and where this experiment has taken me.

A few questions for you on the Autoblog if you'd be so kind to answer, thanks:

Do you spin (autospin) the content, or are you just publishing "already published content", and to hell with the duplicate content rule?

Would you consider monetizing the content any other way? By this I mean adding Amazon, clickbank, or even Adsense JUST on certain pages? Or are you worried about a ban here? (on the ad program) I've always been interested in the idea of chucking Adsense on such a blog, even though it ISN'T the monetization method, BUT I'm always worried about the potential BAN HAMMER from the big G coming down? What are your thoughts here? Maybe worth just throwing a large Adsense square at the top of the more popular posts... see what happens.

Would you consider putting another analytics package on the website? Try Clicky perhaps, see if you're getting different results, you can check these results real-time as well!

Are you targeting a specific niche? I am obviously not asking for the exact niche (duh! ), what I'm trying to get to at here is... are you targeting a very specific keyword? and a few others similar to that main one? Or are you just taking a broad niche and keyword base?

Are you mean only use SB for sites with unique content and never use it for auto blog ?

Great post, already subscribed. I started with a few autoblogs with wp********* and I sold a few and I was making a lot from adsense, but when I received a lot of complains from the content owners and my hundreds of twitter accounts banned I finished that experiment.
