[Case Study] 200 Adsense Sites Being Tested

Adsense is not going to ban you because you rock at creating websites at lightning speed.

He is right.

In January I put up 87 websites and in February I put up another 30.
No issues here and I was even at the Adsense in your city conference.

It really appears they're only concerned about the quality and not the quantity.

@xoc,

What is the page count on average for all of those adsense sites you're building? Are they on average 1 page (with privacy, tc about, etc) or are they like 5-15 pages? Or is every site fairly large (god help you if thats the case the content costs must be enormous lol)

I have heard people claim they got into trouble (with adsense team i presume, coulda been webspam team i guess) for having hundreds of sites only like 1-5 pages long (even with high quality onpage, 1500 words answering users questions/intent, images video header tags etc)

IMO page count shouldn't be an issue if you are producing actual quality websites for adsense and not garbage, but when you are putting them all under one account i have to wonder if they could get weird with you after passing a certain "quantity" threshold...regardless of your portfolio's "quality". i'm sure this has something to do with monitoring your earnings levels too

Thanks in advance...

I complete agree with you.. I have several sites under one adsense account with out any problem.. Nice case study.. Keep it coming..

so you are going to put all the MNS on 1 adsense account?

What the OP is doing is not BH... it's not shady in any way...

There's no reason why Google would have any issues with this. At worst, Google value prices the ads and they don't make as much, but then again they only do that when you are making alot of impressions for the type of content.

When doing 200 niche sites all at once like the OP is planning, there will be a good percentage that just plain won't make the cut once the 1 year renewal comes due. So you build the sites up and with 200 niche sites, not necessarily MICRO niche 1 pagers... You are bound to hit atleast 10%-30% of them into some sort of sustained earnings.

Then you concentrate on those 20-60 sites and make them bigger... diversify their revenue streams and look for higher dollar producing methods like CPA or Affiliate Sales and Offers.

Good Luck to the OP! I'll be watching...

Subbed!

And if Adsense really bans you for too many sites than Adsense's reputation in my mind will fall by like 75%.... That sounds really stupid and just greedy. Unless your content is cheap and spun

For the few of you thinking he'll get banned for having too many sites on 1 adsense account your wrong, you can have 500 sites on 1 account if their your sites.

I personally don't see any issues, but as I mentioned above, over the years many many folks have been doing case studies etc and have experienced either complete rankings drops across all of their sites, or actual adsense bans.

imo you really have to go out of your way to get banned by the adsense team, autoblogging, no privacy policy, etc. i don't think many should be too worried about that at all if they are producing solid websites.

what i don't know so much anymore is if there is any connection to the web spam team/number of adsense sites and their earning levels possibly triggering further investigation into the entire massive portfolio etc.

so its not so much getting banned from adsense with 300 sites or whatever, it is that people have reported their entire portfolio's dropping/potentially being penalized on a sitewide and/or keyword/page level when they go about creating lots of adsense sites. like i said, i have no idea what the potential red flags could be, but with all the data and connections google makes now, who knows...

getting banned from adsense with hundreds of sites wouldn't be so bad, but getting those same hundreds of sites hit with some type of review/penalty, probably a cross between algo and manual based, from the webspam team would spell disaster.

that's why i wonder now if they have any connections/red flags they look for, and if quantity/type of websites under same account could affect any of this process. similar to the whole wmt/analytics/adsense/etc connections and that possibly being used negatively against you. (i don't necessarily believe this either but it makes you wonder)

also, as we all know, what Google says and actually does often seems to be at odds with each other...

I think they look into your account more once you reach $60-70 per day, try to diversify before then.

Most people involved with Adsense over the years seem to reach a consensus that Adsense will manually review your account/sites around the $50-$100 daily earning level, or 1500 to 3000 a month. you can read reports on all the forums about this occuring. the thing is though, a lot of sites will be manually reviewed BEFORE this process. in order to make that type of money with adsense, you need to be ranking well for some good phrases. so...

the higher the search volume threshold is and thus the more competitive those terms are that the adsense site(s) is ranking at, the more likely someone will review the site.

like i said though, i wouldn't worry too much about the adsense team. i would worry about the connections/red flags that the web spam team is looking for when they analyze your portfolio of adsense websites.

for instance, with all the offpage shenanigans lately and everyone getting webmaster tools warnings and sites tanking for target keywords from blog networks, homepage backlinks, overoptimization, etc.

all google needs is a potentially shady link or shady link source or something like that incoming to just ONE of your adsense websites to state that they question the quality/intent of what you are doing with your ENTIRE adsense site portfolio, and then BOOM a few weeks later your entire portfolio drops to pages 50+ of the google results for 6 months to a year or worse...

this is why i am wondering what the web spam team's connections are in cases like this where you build huge quantities of quality sites under one account, because the webspam team is certainly going to be more interested in your "intent" behind your websites and the process you used to rank all the hundreds of your websites for competitive phrases within their algo, based on my experiences. the adsense team on the other hand will cheer you on and encourage you to place ads all over the worst of the worst content pages.

and i believe these "connections" are important for us to recognize going forward, i just wish i knew more info...

We already have a few content writers at the moment. But we could always use more especially if the content is good and the rate is right.

If you are truly interested in talking about this, please add me on skype (brain.storm11)

Anyway, I think this project is really neat. I think it can show quantity can sometimes overcome quality. Luck has less of an impact on 200 adsense sites than one authority site that gets knocked by Google.

I'll be reading your blog too. Are you guys specialists at anything and breaking it up that way? Onsite SEO and offpage SEO split?

This would be a massive (but cool) project. Perhaps I'll be trying it in the near future.. how are you investing the money?

Building 50 micro niche adsense sites per month = inviting for Google ban. Better build few quality sites or spread your sites over multiple adsense accounts

Why would Google ban somebody for creating 50 micro niche sites? If people put Adsense on all of the websites then that means Google is MAKING money. So long as people use whitehat methods, Google would prefer as many as possible, wouldn't you think?

As long as he's not building each site with just 1-2 articles and keeps building them he'll be fine I don't know why all you guys are seeing he'll get banned

Here is a COMPANY dedicated to building MANY like over 125+ websites a month! And they do it from the Philipines with a TEAM of people.
adsenseflippers

As long as he's not building each site with just 1-2 articles and keeps building them he'll be fine I don't know why all you guys are seeing he'll get banned

Because they don't know what they are talking about and only read a bunch of junk thread about people getting banned and not the REAL reason behind it all.

STOP propagating junk/bad information and advice.
