[CASE STUDY] 100 Medium Articles = $$$

For those who are interested.. Medium Partner Progeam is available only to select countries. Countries where Stripe is available. Authors from India and Brazil cannot participate as Stripe is in preview mode.

The problem is having a subdomain in the first place. I thought they were just asking for username, didn't think about it. An article on username.medium.com will rank harder than the same article on medium.com/@username/article because in the latter example it benefits from the authority of the root domain. The authority of a new subdomain is 0.
 
Using these kinds of articles won't work with Medium.

Why? Let's understand how the Medium Partner Program Works

Step 1: You will receive payment only if people under the Medium paywall read your article.
Meaning: If 1000 people read your article and only 100 are under Medium subscribers then only 100 will count.

Step 2: Medium uses the time spent on an article and divides the total time spent by the subscriber on the total month and gives you that percentage.

MEANING: If a person paid $10 for the subscription and read for 100 minutes in the month and spent 3 minutes into reading your article then you will receive $0.30

WHY THIS won't WORK:

1) If this spun article and if human readability is low, people will close your article soon

2) If this works, more and more people will do and make this method Saturated.

Imagine if you can just spin an article and get $20 CPM everyone would do. Money making is not as easy as you think.

You've made some good points here, that's for sure. The articles are well compiled though, and totally readable.

I have read about how the medium partner program works - I do know all of your points. I'm trying to focus the niches on Tech/Crypto - as I think those are the niches people are most likely to have a paying Medium account in.

And again; this is just a case study, could turn out with 0$, or 1000$. I have no idea, because from my understanding this hasn't been tested before :)
 
Medium articles rank very quickly and the domain has a high authority, there is no need to build backlinks unless it is a very competitive keyword.

This is not a new method, i saw a thread on this forum last week where the OP mentioned the same method with spun article and he was making average $300 to $500 per account using the Medium partner program. The niche must be something topical like politics, technology etc that will get plenty of views.
